Super Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Super Saturday

Postby asirimarco » Sat Jul 10, 2010 7:12 am

Good Morning to All - This morning is beautiful - not as hot or humid as it has been lately. A little rain yesterday sure helped. The coffee is fresh - we use the Lite kind - some caffine but not too much. There is a lot of fresh fruit but the caramel brownies are gone -
Not much on the agenda for today - watch the World Cup game this aft and the NASCAR race tonight.
Will probably work on some of the hand work on the binding on my quilt. If I can find a very cool place to sit and do it.
The Driver is getting ants in his pants - wants to get on the road and go somewhere - but our house sitter is out of town visiting relatives. I'm content to stay here for a while but have been pulling pages out of RV magazines on places to go and see.
Hope the day stays nice for everyone where ever you are.

Good morning,
We had a little rain here too, not as much as expected but great, as its been a while since we had any. My yard was mowed Thursday eve., so I was really glad to see the rain come, before it was burnt to a crisp. Maggie and I, just had our walk out back. After the rain, its so pretty out there, freshly mowed. All my work in the spring really paid off, I really enjoyed it this morning.

Carol, its so nice to see you on here lately, I really missed you. Encouraged to write a morning post,in fact. Not much to write about here. I'm doing great, but limited , and wanting to do so much more but here I still set :D Other then some good movies, and great books about the west and horses, (my favorite topics), nothing newsy happening here. I keep reading who is coming to the Sept. GTG in Ark, and that REALLY lifts my spirits. We have more coming, each day it seems. Which is an idea for you all Carol, if you hit the road, in Sept, come down that way. It looks to be a great GTG, and an interesting area.

More rain expected here, today. So Maggie and I, will walk several times before it gets here. Doing a few minor household chores, is on the agenda. No lifting, or struggling with anything , to far now to mess up. (that comment is for those who might think to fuss at me :) ).

Have a Great day everyone, stay cool and for those traveling stay safe and enjoy,
CArol

Good morning ladies
monsoon rolled into town last night, but haven't got any action out of it just yet,
am hoping :P but its cloudy and very humid! Have the windows and door open, ceiling
fan is going and the fantastic fan as well. Trying to give the a/c a break. I sprayed
some cleaner on the fins to get some of the dirt off to make it a little more efficient.
That space is a little hard to reach up into but I did it and now I'm actually afraid to
turn it on for fear I didn't get it all rinsed off and will get fumes. :|
Gracie's having a good time watching out the window upstairs, actually she's checking
out ALL the open windows as she very seldom sees them open.
Have had the fire truck and ambulance come in the park this morning, so guess someone
is having some health issues, hoping all will be ok.
Have been up for a couple hours already and coffee'd out, but a little toast and yogurt
will serve me well for breakfast.
Enjoy your day, be safe, and have some fun!

The air is much better here this morning too, I was able to do my walk outside. We've had some much needed rain over the last few days but until today the humidity has been bad. We went to dinner last night with a group I went to High School with, we get together once a month and it's been rather nice. I actually don't remember several of them much from those days but it has been good getting acquainted with them now, I suspect we are all quite different than we were back them anyway.
I'm off to my yoga class yeah!!! I LOVE yoga probably because we have a terrific instructor. Several of my friends who are around my age go and we all can't believe how much it has helped our strength and flexibility. It is an easy type yoga but still very effective.

Jumping on to say gm while it's still morning. Good to see you start our day, Carol. You say "the driver" is getting antsy. But YOU are the one looking in the magazines - so I think you both are. I'm sure you're enjoying your house also.

Nothing planned today - going to be a bum - maybe for several days :)
