4-H Dog Show

Postby BirdbyBird » Fri Jul 09, 2010 9:26 pm

Herschel stayed home but sent me over to the fairground to watch part of this year's dog show. If you like well mannered kids and well mannered dogs it is a nice place to be.

There is always a lot of hanging around and waiting.....

These labs (plus three more) all live in the same family. The same family that Izzy's older brother Stuart has been living with. The girls said that he now thinks he is a lab. :)

And they roped me into helping the interview judge (b/c she was taking soooo long.) I helped her review and score the completed project books. But I missed getting to watch and take pictures of Stuart in the ring with his girl. I did get to hear the announcer say they won 2nd place in Senior B. :D :D

So I only have an informal picture of a happy Stuart dog and his girl! :) He doesn't look like Lab....

What a terrific day! Stuart looked so handsome. I, too, love to watch the 4H kids. What a great club.

Congrats to Stuart. He reminds me of the cartoon dog Droopy, with the same expression on his face no matter what is going on. The other dogs on the link were fabulous shots also. Thanks for posting the pics. Linda
