Possible AR GTG

Oh, wish I could make it - so much fun but I've got to spiff my house up for sale when I get home. My renters have tentatively said they are moving out in Sept or Oct so I'll have to move back into the house until it sells. My next trip will probably be to Port Lavaca for the annual GTG in April. Planning on staying at the Kerrville KOA (not Guadalupe) until I find out exactly what's happening. If they're not out, I'll have to give them 30 days notice so I can fix it up and sell. Hopefully it will sell fast but in this market, who knows. Decided to stay at the KOA cause its $100 cheaper a month AND I got really,really tired of the outdoor live NOISY band at Guadalupe. Its a little further from Kerrville but much quieter. The older I get the more I NEED peace and quiet.

Are you planning on bringing your tent and coming too. Am looking forward to meeting you too. You are invited to use our tent pad without charge if it is allowed. You know you want to try one of those shooters!! Dang may have to go and get a gallon container to mix it up in. But I always say the more the merrier.
Soos, you have got to come, I want to see your truck set up with the tent. We are thinking about doing something like that for early spring and late fall camping.
I happen to be one of those people who have to have air or I begin to swell like a balloon. Some days I have no ankle bones, just big old bulges where they are suppose to be. Then I have to sit down, put my feet up. But it isn't gonna get me down this GTG I am too pumped up.

UM, sorry - please note, I'm surrounded.
It's YOU that no one wants to be near.
I think it might have something to do with the fact that they're afraid even smelling your food could be hazardous to their health.

I think it's more like, they figure if they surround you, they can keep an eye on you!

Sharon, Jim can pour you how ever much you want in your shooter. 1/2 or 1/4th. etc.
Tina, I looked at the map and I am sure we can figure out someway to get you to your camper. We can roll you in my mobile walking chair, or pull you down the road behind one of our trucks, or pile your body in the back of one of the trucks, unhook Carol and have her drive over and pick you up and deliver you back to your camper. Donit worry, we will get you back to your camper some way.

I only drink when I'm within crawling distance of Hope! Learned that lesson at a Jeep GTG when the girls were experimenting with making Lemon Drop Martinis! There's a whole afternoon lost from my memory. Didn't know there were so many ways to make them. But they sure were good, all of them! I think. And Vickie, I only had half a beer in Nashville, split it with Carolyn. Do believe I two-stepped thru the dance floor and out of that bar, tho.

Okay, okay, I just made my reservations for 9/12 and leaving 9/17 for site #16 waterfront. I'm bringing my friend Carole and her Chihuahua Prissy. Since I'm on the waterfront the party will start at my place. Now, how many glasses do I need to bring? I need to break the news to the owners here that I won't be staying all the way thru September.

And Marslet - Birdie is an avid birder. She has the best binoculars - almost makes me want a pair. She can see the birds hiding in the trees that I can only hear. You two will probably be alike in that.
