And I want to say Hi and Welcome too. My grandparents used to live in Holiday, north of Tampa so am familiar with area very well. They of course have passed on. I love boating too and have had my share of small fishing boats, pontoons, speedboats, sailboats (loved sailing), canoes and kayaks. Right now I dn't have any but contemplating a kayak again.
I just returned from a "shakedown camping trip " of my new Rockwood Mini Lite TT. Had a good time although it required returnng home each day twice to bring back and pick up my dogs while I was at work. I only live three miles from the park where I camped and work there as well. But all went well. And I know the ladies out there are awaiting a full report complete with pictures.
But anyway, welcome aboard.

Just got internet again. I definitely know about Beer Can Beach-when my son was "not quite of age" we got a call from the police asking us to please come get him and his friends off the beach and take him home It was a popular place in the evenings and especially weekends for the high school and "not so high" school kids. carold

Hi Laurie! Welcome to the forum. We're a friendly bunch -- don't let the faux catfights between Vickie and Mitch scare you off! We're just a big, dysfunctional RV-loving family that posts in a testosterone-free zone. If you need that particular drug, go to RV.net, ask a question (I call that throwing out fresh meat) and watch the posturing and one-upsmanship. Spectator sport.

And yes, the PICTURES. We crave 'em. Just remember they have to reside somewhere on line (such as photobucket.com) to upload them here. PB has the tools for you to edit the size of your pictures for posting here.

Having said all that ... the dream of bouncing between a boat and 5'er ... sounds like heaven. Just get out a dull knife and begin ever-so-slowly gnawing your hubby's "land tether," so when it finally gives, he'll think it was his idea!!
