Thank you, thank you for my birthday wishes. I would have posted earlier but.... but Izzy said she wanted to show me a birthday adventure. She took me kayaking.
She felt very special because Herschel trusted her to keep an eye on the girls and make sure they didn't try to throw me off in the middle of the lake.
Izzy kept trying to find out who was expected to use the paddles.
Li' M and Li' V were no help. They kept complaining about fading in the sunshine!
I see them needing a spa day with a bright new Sharpe marker...
The girls just were not paddling their weight. They just wanted to stare out at the big boats.
Izzy tried to get us all to swim with her. But I liked my perch better.
Izzy found the trip more exciting than I but then after 102 years I have been around a lot longer than she has. And face it I am not that into anything that requires that much work. I much more enjoy the sun bathing watching the water float by.
Well now I need to shower and get my sun screen and bug spray rinsed off. I hear that some wonderful folks are planning to attend the GTG in AK. I can hardly wait to meet everyone
You never know what part of the country I might decide to run off to next. This Ohio place is rather boring...but it is the hinterlands of America. Hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July and please please take some of this cake with you.
