sun screens

I have a class c and need a sun screen or sun shield (I don't know if there is a difference). I thought I saw something about the Pana Sunscreen on this forum, but I can't find it now. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on this subject I would like to hear about them before I make a purchase.

Are you looking for one for inside or outside the rig. Do you want to be able to see through it or not?

I would like it to be inside, and yes, I want to see through it. Oh, another question. The string on my day/night shades broke. How can I fix it?

I have a sun screen that fits on the outside of my class c. It was suppose to be custom made but it doesn't fit very well. It has magnets on the bottom that are suppose to hold it down but I'm afraid to use it if it is very windy because I'm afraid the magnets flapping will break the window. I can't remember where I ordered it but you don't want one. I think I saw a cover that looked good on the camping world website but think it was solid. I'm a lot of help. lol I don't know that I have ever seen a see through sun screen that fit on the inside.

I'd look at these if I were getting inside ones - looks good to me.

As to the magnets on the outside covers, I have those and they aren't a problem at all. Mine wasn't "custom" made - just made for the year Ford I have. That cover was on in TX during some high, high winds (over 60 mph) more than once. My magnets never flapped in the wind - did slide up on the window once, though.

wouldn't get buried.

Just before DH died, we bought the inside shade covers for the RV. It was such a hassle to put the outside ones on and I always wanted inside ones. Well, I discovered the driver's seat and steering wheel made it impossible for me to stick the suction cups to the windshield! No matter how we pretzeled (is that a word?) our bodies. And the dash was steeply slanted, so couldn't even kneel on it.

I currently use a solid silver windshield sun shade on the front and two cut to fit pieces of the quilted silver insulation (it comes in a roll at the home improvement store) on the sides. Can't see out, of course, but they can't see in either. Takes only 2 or 3 minutes to put up or take down, so if I want the view during the day I just take them down. I've thought about buying the landscape garden shade cloth that you can get by the yard or foot in the garden center of Lowes or Home Depot. I use it now to shade my deck at home and it's perfect. Still have to put another something up for privacy at night, but during the day you can't see in. Much, much cheaper than buying from the RV people.

Not sure if this is what you want but there is a product that comes in a roll for about $10 at auto parts stores like Auto Zone that you can cut to fit and apply inside with a squeegie deal to help reduce sun and people looking in during day. I've been told, right here on this forum that it can be seen thru at night with lights on though. I'm going to put this on my kitchen window because Eddie (the dog) has torn up the blind.
