GOOD MORNING ALL!
It's about 63 degrees outside, very wet after an all-night steady rain, but just sort of misting now. We didn't get any thunderstorms, for which I am so thankful, but the rain never seemed to let up.
Molly and I snuck out of the trailer very quietly, as she was very alert to something outside while lying in my bed, looking out of the window, after the alarm went off. As we crept toward the house, a HUGE whitetailed deer blew at us and leaped high into the air as it bounded off down the hill, its white flag flashing up and down in the dawn gloom! Mornings like this make my heart sing----surrounded by so many birds singing their morning songs, the smells of the damp vegetation, and the occassional surprise animal to begin our day. There is no place I would rather be in June than right here in my own campsite.
I will be at school for morning exams today, in the library to provide a place for those students before and after their exams, and then we can leave after the buses leave at about 11:30. Tomorrow will be the same schedule, and Friday is just about 2 hours for us all. I will get my final check as a full-time employee, and off I will go.
I got frozen in the chatroom last night while chatting with Beth, and couldn't get back on for a bit. Sorry about that, Beth! By the time I did get back, nobody was there. Maybe tonight.
Stop in for some coffee and let us know what's going on with you all. I am going online to YouTube and listen to Bon Jovi's "Hallelujah" one more time. The words to that song are nothing like the chorus would have me believe, which would be a religious piece, but the melody I REALLY love! I will try to copy it to my MP3 player.
Happy Wednesday---oh dang it-----I forgot my bone pill today. I'll have to do that tomorrow as I've already had coffee!
