Charcoal or gas?

Barbie, you asked earlier about smoke flavor on a gas grill...get a smoker box and buy some wood chips. You add it to the gas grill and the wood burns (you've soaked it in water, first) and smokes and adds the flavor you want.

Also, the Volcano 2 can use charcoal, propane, OR wood. It's a nifty gadget, albeit a little pricey. I love mine (haven't tried the gas part yet.)
There's a thread here somewhere about it (I think under Gadgets and Gizmos.)

ON EDIT: Here's the previous thread on the Volcano 2:

This would be me, but make it 100% of the time.

I buy hickory, mesquite and applewood chips, soak them in water, make a little "boat" out of heavy duty tin foil and put it on the gas grill a few minutes before I put my meat and veggies on. Works great and gives that smokey taste.

Does anyone see my cow chip graphic?
Vickie's being mean and is telling me it doesn't show (and also laughing at me, the bully...)
But it shows here on my end.
