Thanks for the updates Liz I hope things continue to go ok and that Carol will soon get to go home and rest. Hospitals don't allow for much of that it seems. Will continue to keep her in my thoughts.

Talked to Carol this evening. She sounds really good....her chatty ol' self. She may go home tomorrow. She's been sitting up and walking today, and was able to eat a little. She said the stitches are a "pain," but the dr. told her she can't hurt anything by moving...yeah, right. I expect she'll waste no time getting online to see what I said about her, once she gets home.

Great news. And I bet she misses us. Too bad we couldn't loan her a laptop for in the hospital! We would have kept her cheered up - although, I remember she said she woudln't want to laugh - and we couldn't promise not to make her laugh.

That's great news, Liz!
My girlfriend recently had hernia surgery and they super glued her shut instead of using stitches!! She said it was scary the first time she stood up! :o

That is great news. I have been waiting to hear what happened. Did a quick read of the posts last night but was too tired to reply. Wishing Caol all the best and glad our prayers have been answered. Waiting for her to have a complete recovery so she can get on the road again. {{{{{{{Hugs to you Carol}}}}}. Sent with love.

Just got home today and glad the news is good...thanks Liz for keeping us updated! Carol was on my mind all week, and no internet. I have her phone number, but didn't want to disturb her.
