SS WEDNESDAY FOR ME

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SS WEDNESDAY FOR ME

GOOD MORNING ALL!

It's a cool, dank morning out there, at about 39 degrees. I am wondering if Mary got the snow she mentioned they were expecting last night. We certainly don't need any of that white stuff any more this season! I still can't tell how many blueberries have survived those early frosts and the heavy rains we have had on and off, but I am hoping there will be plenty to pick.

My daughter and her dogs and her guy, Joe, will be coming this afternoon to stay overnight here, so I may be missing in action during the chat time. I am so hoping her huge dogs do NOT rip open my screen room again this year, as they did last year! Grrrrrr! I have the doors unzipped and tied back, but they still insist on going through the sidewalls.

I managed to get the entire lawn mowed again yesterday after school, and it is looking nice out there. If it's not raining today, I need to weed my rock gardens which have some wild plants and flowers in them. I also need to begin to clean out the party barn for the season.

Lots of bills to pay this morning, as it's SS pay day for me, so off I go to attend to those. Stop by and let us know what's up in your world and have some hot coffee. Happy Wednesday----I can now have my coffee after freezing my stomach with cold water to swallow my bone density meds! ACK!

Another mouse to release this morning along my way to school, too.

Good Morning All - PLEASE send some of that cool weather this way. Already so hot sticky here my feet are sticking to the floors. Another storm rolled through here last night. That makes it five evenings in a row of severe weather and nothing on TV but weather tracking. Enough is enough. I sure hope this lets up soon - don't feel like doing anything.
So watched 3 soccer games and the basketball game - and I'm not interested in sports!
Today I'm going to practice machine quilting and try to finish my place mats. I've got the paint for the laundry room but too hot for that.
Safe travels to all.

good morning ladies
Soos, maybe you could get some safety pins and just safety pin a sheet across
the bottom part so the dogs having something solid to see, they apparently
can't see the screen. Hope your screen room will be safe.
About time for another cup of coffee, and to get dressed for work. I need to
leave just a tad early cause I have to stop for gas this morning. It was just
too hot on the way home to do that.
Enjoy your day and be safe.

We are supposed to have a tiny break in weather before the next onslaught of high humidity/dew points so I'm hoping to make it to my yoga class. I sure need it after being cooped up inside so long. We had rain yesterday afternoon so I dashed out for my afternoon coffee that I am so addicted to, guess it could be something worse. I only have two cups a day but I don't function without them. I tried one time and was fine physically but was so spaced I was afraid to drive. I didn't know it would be that way and hadn't believed at a friend that said it happened to them.
Soos, I think Ava is right about putting up something over your screens, my dog can't see the screen in the patio door so I put a stool in front of it when the door is open.

Good morning from sultry Florida. Took advantage of a cooler morning on the Silver River yesterday. Today I am packing and readying for our trip next week. Here's a little Silver River serenade to start your day: Right click on the picture to watch the video clip in a new window.

NEAT video, Liz! I sure wish I were there!

And that's a good suggestion about putting sheets up in the screen house for those monster dogs to see, Ava! I hope I get home before they get there to do just that!

Morning from the cool, drippy PNW!! We set yet another record yesterday for the coolest daytime high! We didn't get out of the 50s! Now it's raining again. Might be partly sunny and reach 70 by the weekend. ENOUGH ALREADY!! I'm getting webbed feet!
I'm off to grocery shop this morning. I have been down lately and eating my weight and packing on the lbs, which in turn makes me feel more miserable. So back to eating well.
Also it's Wacky Wednesday at Dirty Doggone where I buy my dog's food and get his nails trimmed for free on Wednesdays. If I don't get his nails clipped every 2-3 wks they get out of control. As it is they are having to clip them longer than necessary because the quick has grown out, too.
Haven't checked in to see if how Carol's recorvery is progressing. Hope all is well there.
Glad you got some extra zzzzzs Barbie.
Enjoy your company, Soos.
Loved the video, Liz, and sorry if I'm missing anyone else that shared this morning.
