Gosh Sharon, you make us sound decrepit !! Last time I saw you, you weren't that old either. Ca. people age faster?
Liz, I may have to think on reading this thread, think you're right, but it sure is great for the spirits, so we'll see. I don't do pain well, and this afternoon i laughed so hard,
that if I had had stitches, I wouldn't have afterwards. That itis bit, blew my mind!! Took me totally by surprise, so if it had been after surgery, I would have been in some kind of pain, laughing and crying. That was a BIG spew alert, for sure!

Safe and Happy travels All,

So how much room is there for a tent along with an RV? I am going to buy a new tent and am wondering what size I can fit on one of the sights. I want to get a fairly large tent (in case I need to live in it for awhile when I get to CA! ). I am looking at ones anywhere from 13' X 11' to 20' X 11' (three room).

You should probably call the park and ask. Don't forget to allow for extra room for the Burning Poop Bag.

Yeah, I'd check before you bought one that wouldn't fit in the square that is designated for tents.

And remember Carol and I both have smaller rigs.....more space....and we have the innocence to look surprised  in the Nashville bar (Mostly, I kept thinking about blood levels and whether several of the men would remember much of anything the next morning...that part was sort of sad. The young ladies were very talented.)

Well, I called and checked, and the tent pads at the RV sites are 17' X 17', so plenty big. I found a great tent at Walmart that has an attached screen porch which I really like! It is 16 X 11, (8X11 tent / 8X11 porch) so that would fit fine, and it would also be plenty big and comfy for me if I needed to live in it for awhile in CA. I read the customer reviews on it and they are really good. It sounds like it is easy to set up and sturdy. I get claustrophobic, so the porch would be ideal for me. It also can be closed up for additional sleeping area. It is also affordable (in a couple weeks!).

I sure hope I can get there! It sounds like a ton of fun will be had!

Barbie, is this the one you're looking at?

If it is, it's $149.99, free shipping, no tax at Amazon.

ON EDIT: I just found it at Walmart for $119 - free shipping.
Cool looking tent!

Hi,

I finally got to the library and found the site again......in my next life I will be a techie but it sure isn't going to happen in this life time. Yes, Barb and I got together.....however said...it took us forever and we live two miles apart made me smile. Isn't that the truth. I enjoyed our visit.....I got scared when you guys changed the hot air balloon dates on me....thankfully, I had it right.

I'm a little confused on your Arkansas GTG. What are the dates and where? I gave up trying to read all 13 pages of "information and other assorted things" -- I'd put a smiley face there if I knew how!!!!

I'm ending this fast because the library is closing and I don't want to discover a NEW way to lose a message on this site.
