Boy, I leave town for a few days and all hell breaks loose! Listen Missy, I have full confidence that everything is going to work out just peachy kean for you and you'll be at the Arkansas GTG! You're the only friend I have that "accidently" runs into single men in the CG...I NEED you!!  Just wish I was gonna be in the area sooner to give you a hand while you recoup. Big big huge hug to you, and a smaller one for Maggie.

Well, I have certainly been remiss in not thanking you all for your well wishes. Thank you all !! I have been busy around here, trying to do things that will really bug me while I am unable to do much. The rest I won't think about :D Have a list of things to get at grocery store, next week, hopefully I judge amount of some things where I don't run out  (like toilet paper  ) My neighbor, I'm sure would pick up items for me, but she's such a busy person with her family and her mother has more serious condition then I, at this time.

I have frozen quite a few meals and have easy, not standing up much meals planned, so from the time my sister has to leave , until my friends are back from their trip out west, they plan to be here by the 24th for the dr. visit to get my staples out.( that makes me cringe). I go back and forth, having "pity parties" here and really happy times. I think I'm normal, if not, please let me stay ignorant. ;)

I haven't set down much here to keep up with all that all of you are doing. I figure I will have plenty of time in a couple of weeks to catch up on everyone and their doings for the past year :) I just happened to think though, that I should have long ago written something here, to let you all know, that I so appreciate each of you and your well wishes. I'm doing ok, just so many things that I have had to try to do, so I will be comfortable as possible and have things handy. Such as my George Forman grill ON the counter instead of in the bottom of a cabinet. Bending over doesn't appeal so soon after. This all keeps my mind busy, so avoiding the pity party times, and I've been reading my self to sleep. So I am doing ok and I will be ok.

Thank you all

Of course you'll be okay - we won't let it be any other way.

Seriously - if you want to have a pity party, we'll be happy to have one with you - as long as you share the happy parties with us also. We all need to have those pity parties occasionally. It sounds like you're taking this time before surgery to get everything in place to make things work as easily as possible for you during recovery. And yep, move anything you use often that's low. That bending won't be desirable. You go girl. I'm impressed.

Sounds like good planning to me! Get some soups you like too. I find when I'm hungry I want it NOW and soup is a quick easy fix. I'm hooked on those cartons of V-8 Tomato and Basil Soup I think it is.

Carol, I've had staples removed a couple of times, once in a very sensitive area down near Miss Kitty...doesn't hurt a bit. A little tug and it's all over, doesn't even pinch. So you can take that one off of your "worry list"! (Every little bit helps, doesn't it?)
