Herschel will chase them but he doesn't HAVE to. Now Stuart, that is another matter. Stuart feels that one of his jobs in the universe is to chase small dangerous critters.

I hate to bring anything unpleasant up, but I think lil M, has MAYBE been abused, little color difference there. Herschel, think you should keep an eye on your hooman, did she leave Lil M in the sun? Being confined to the r.v. and in the sun, (oh dear)
You all look so good, and Izzy is really looking not like a puppy anymore.

Maggie is hoping to see you soon, Herschel, she says to tell Abby she can just back off !!!!!

Herschel had notice that color fading and he did mention that the rig stays unlocked in the driveway....so, we are not really sure if the twins have stayed home all this time. We haven't noticed any ticket stubs, but they could have hidden them :? :)

..

Who the heck needs a ticket? We're hot enough to get in the stage door (winky winky)...now, my lips are sealed.

PS: The sun damage was from that wild, wild month spent at Club Med Bora Bora...

PPS to L'il V - older, yes. Smarter and wiser, definitely.

CONGRATULATIONS, IZZY, on a job well done! You have become quite the star in your short lifetime!

I am just wondering what sort of ribbons I could win by being a free-roaming slut from the streets of Detroit? Do they give ribbons for being a successful rehab puppy? Sigh---you are in another world than mine, and I am proud to call you a canine!

Love and admiration from Molly the Dingo from the wilds!

Remi will answer that there is a job for all. He came from one of those tiny puppy mill cages and had been sent to auction as a puppy miller's reject. The rescue group came away with 16 dirt encased filthy pups of all different breeds. The ladies didn't even know what a Havanese was...but said there was just something about him. The rescues more than a several Pugs.....they recognized those. After three baths and some vet work....he was available for adoption. I asked for him because I had research the Havenese traits and thought/hoped they would be a good match for therapy work with Herschel. Well "Remington" (as some of his friends at the nursing home feel more fully reflects his station and dignity) has learned to accept and sometimes actually seeks out human touch. He doesn't tell me if he knows what it is that he gives back to humans, since he is still obviously very alert to the dangers of the world and many of the humans beings in it. But when his is in the presence of "his" kind of people...he seems to know by their voice and touch and he seems to sense know that he is doing what he was meant to do. Remi and Herschel always reminds the rest of them that what is really really important.....but they both agree that if Izzy can look good and still take care of important, essential dog-human stuff, she should go for it. It is the role as best friend and companion that is the most important one of all.

I thought of Ava yesterday....Izzy and I joined in a meet the breed opportunity during the lunch break at the show. We got to know one of the other members of our club better. Helped her set up her x-pen and later sat beside her..and her two whippets and one rescued greyhound... They were so gentle and dignified.
