Finally going

Postby Carol » Sun May 23, 2010 7:48 pm

I will be going on my first camping trip in the new class c. (I still don't have a name for her) I thought for sure that I had to work on Memorial Day weekend so I didn't even plan on it. Today I found out that I don't have to work. The kids and friends are going to Buena Vista Resort in south Jersey, so when I found out that I would be off the whole weekend, I was sure that I couldn't get a reservation at this late date. But I called, and sure enough they had a site open. I'm so very excited. Today I went out and bought so much "stuff" We used to have everything, but when my husband passed away, everything was given away. Now I'm broke LOL

Good for you, Carol! Enjoy your first adventure. And don't worry about going broke buying things for your new rolling home - it's a given. Whenever we buy a different rig we have to also buy her presents. We always seem to have browns and greens and the new rig is blue and gray. And, of course we want to match all the towels and bedding. And we just have to have whatever that new thingy is that Camping World is offering. You didn't actually think you were getting into this wonderful lifestyle to save money, did you?

Hope your holiday weekend is wonderful and be sure to tell us all about it.

Another wish for a great weekend. Maybe there will not be any place near camp site to shop and you can just enjoy all your new treasures.

You will so enjoy getting the maiden trip completed! Then the second trip is really no big deal. And then you will be ready to roll, baby, ready to roll. Here is hoping that you have so much fun that the idea of just staying at the cg for another week becomes very appealing. Woo-hoo as Mitch said.
