It's still on!!! OHBOY! I think the "Official Dates" are 4 nights beginning Monday, September 13. I think Doofus and I plan to come in sometime during the weekend.

Actually Doofus and Ronnie are camping at Lake Catherine State Park right now. They arrived yesterday to spend 2 nights. She's our Official Site Checker and Photographer and is going to take pictures of some of the sites down at the far end of the park...

So, YES, IT'S A GO!! Now, if Doofus would just get on the stick and post a Site Visit Report and pictures...

At this point, don't know who's coming besides me, chewy and sam. BF was invited, but whether he'll come or not probably won't know until close to time to leave. Won't know about boy chick, his schedule is really nuts, so who knows? Does it matter as long as I'm there?? I'll make my reservations in the next couple of days, as soon as Miss Vickie posts pix of the campsites. Woo Hoo! You can pick on me all you want, just remember that paybacks are hell!!

Well, in checking at the Lake Catherine State Park office today, doing different scenarios, looks like it's not going to be here as they are already booked except for later than we wanted. So...... Mitch and I are doing some frantic searches, trying to find another spot, hopefully in the same general area, if we can. We'll keep you updated.

RATS! Good thing I didn't make my reservations like I was gonna do last nite! Little voice in my head said " Wait for pictures!" And yes, I hear voices and sometimes I even listen!

Ronnie and I are headed here today http://www.petitjeanstatepark.com/ to check it out and stay overnight.

As of this morning they had, in Loop A, sites 1-7, 10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 & 20 available. This is the most requested loop since it is nearest the lake. Other loop sites are also available. I will take pics of the sites and we'll need to reserve as soon as possible if it looks as good as it does on the website and from rv.net posters reviews. I'll keep yall posted.
