Nursed DH through one of those years ago. Like you he was restless to get up and going. You gotta take it slow, but it's amazing how much better you feel now I'm sure. Glad the stent fixed it all. I hope to take up kayaking this summer. May have to meet up for lessons so mend fast!

Wow! I haven't been on here as much lately and I sure missed this news, Liz! I feel bad about that :( I didn't even know you were having problems! Glad you got it taken care of, though, and will be paddling again soon ;) I know how it is when you are anxious to get back to your activities. Just take it easy and you will be back out on the river before you know it! I will say a prayer for you, girlfriend!

Liz I am just catching up with posts on here too. Glad that all is well in your neck of the woods and that the procedure went smoothly. Get lots of rest and enjoy the time with your daughter taking care of you. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I'm just catching up, too. Glad to hear you'll be off and paddling in no time. Bet you're glad it's all behind you now. Rest, relax and then hit the ground (or water).

Hi Liz,

How brave you are, or, sound. I hope all goes well for you before, during and, after the procedure. Hang in there.

Thanks again to all. I'm on the mend...should be back to normal activities next week. Then 3 more drs. appts. coming up and finally Joselyn (friend) and I should be free to begin our trip west about June 22. I plan to test out my new "fully-circulating arm" kayaking on the river next week.
