GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
It's a somewhat cloudy, rather dreary day today, but still not too cold----about 47 degrees out there.
The kids called last night when they landed in Orlando, and by the sound of the laughter and chit chat in the car on their way home, I imagine a good time was had by all! I forgot to ask them to read up on the Costa Rican earthquake. Will have to call today and tell them about it. I have not heard a single word about it on any news channels on TV---I wonder why. I did read up on it online, but that was it. Strange that they are not showing anything on CNN or Fox or NBC----or, if they have, I have missed it.
Molly and I will head to the RV dealers to pick up Ursa Minor, or Little Bear, today----I have decided on a new name for my trailer----Freedom or Libertas just doesn't cut it for me. I really am not so attached to it that I feel it derserves any name yet, I guess. I call my Tom Tom GPS unit Mr. Man, and that seems very fitting for bossy it/him! But the trailer----no real name has been used for that in my mind as yet. I will try on Ursa or Ursa Minor and see if that seems 'right' to me. After all, I didn't even name my son on time at the hospital, as I had no name in my mind that seemed 'fitting.' I made them let me go home by putting 'My Googy Baby' on the birth certificate, as, unless I signed with a name for him, they were going to keep us in there! They were horrified that I would do such a thing, and tried to tell me I couldn't do it. "I can, and I will," I said. I had 3 days to change it at the town hall with no fee penalties, and I took all three days before I came up with a name that seemed to 'fit' this new soul. However, the poor kid has been called Googy all his life by his closest peers and friends and mother! He told his Kindergarten teacher his name was Googy, and, to this day, she still asks me how her 'Googy' is doing! So, as you can tell, I have a 'thing' about names!
Coffee is hot, so stop by and tell us about your latest adventures. I will be busy unhitching, reloading and rehooking the trailer all afternoon, but will check back in here later on. Thursday I will hitch up again for my first campout----and that reminds me that I need to get my bike out. clean it up, pump up the tires, oil it, and get it ready for the haul. I love bicycling on that side of the mountain where it is flatter than it is on this side.
Happy Saturday to all!
