came across this and just thought it was interesting enough to share.
I could see myself doing this someday, not all the time but occassionally
in the right area.

I did it once, up in Central Ca. Had a blast! Folks were all nice, got to meet the families that we were building for (we had 2 houses going on at the same time). It was kind of hard at first 'cause all of the people had done it before and I never had, but I would do it again if I had the chance. Believe it or not, but sometimes it's hard getting on a job, there are a LOT of folks doing this!

I met a couple who travel from job to job - have been doing it for a long time. Just take a break for a short time between jobs to enjoy the journey to the next destination. It's a neat thing.

I worked on a women's build here in Ocala. Looked into care-a-vanners, but having pets would have been a problem for me....can't take them to the job site.

Did a couple in Alaska. It was very satisfying to help someone, especially when you know them personally.
