I, too, am a full-time solo Woman! I just started full-time August 2009. I had purchased a 17' Casita TT in 2008. Learning how to back up was a challenge for me, but then I had never before pulled/towed
anything. Plenty of times I backed in 5 or 15 times until I got it right where I wanted it. But you gotta know there were those marvelous times when I got it on the first try. I remember pulling in to a cg and getting out to walk around the area, two guys across came out and sat on the hood of their pickups, I backed it right in there the first time, just pretty as a picture, got out to unhook and when I looked up, they were gone - no entertainment that day.
I really got quite good at backing up the TT. Consequently, when I got Bunkie, my Class C, last winter, when I got ready to back up, well what a piece of cake
Man, there is not much to backing this up. You just have to know what's behind you and where it is back there. I have no back window, so I have to use the get out and mirrors routine. I have only had a problem one time in the past 7 months. Uh-oh, that means trouble coming up soon! I do plan to take a driving class sometime within the next 12 months. Need to get it budgeted and on the calendar.
I haven't felt uncomfortable at any of the parks where I have stayed. I have had less than great neighbors from time to time, but I am sure I could move to another spot or another campground within about 2 hours, should I ever want to do that. I really try to be aware of the location of the cg, the area going into it, services location, the normal things you do when looking for a house or apartment.
