NW TN Mini-GTG Anyone?

Hummmm been awhile since we have heard from Vickie herself....is there a missing person alert somewhere in Tennessee?

It's ME, it's ME, it's Vickie P!!! I'm alive and well.....well far away from Mitch!

Becky, I am NOT short! I was sitting on the steps of the RV. Mitch is the only one that's short, she barely is taller than Ronnie sitting in his chair! (I think that's why she likes him so much)

We did NOT leave 2 whole days early as Miss Dufus counted. I say we only left one day early as we were supposed to get there on Sat. and leave on Fri, but instead, we arrived on Friday and left on Wed. And it was out of necessity because our holding tank was full and we didn't want to hitch up during the 60% rain on Thur. & Fri. But anyway we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, George was nice, sweetest man you could meet, Abby gave lovely kisses and Mitch, well, Mitch was Mitch. (Actually the perfect hostess) It's not our fault she spent so much time having fun with us instead of working out!

We left NW TN, went through Memphis into Arkansas. Spent Wednesday night at Village Creek State Park, just off of I-40. I really missed Mitch while we were there, she would have been the perfect Village Idiot! Very nice park, huge park, saw deer wandering through the campground. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere and I had no cell phone or internet connection there.

Tonight we are at Lake Catherine State Park!! The site of the AR GTG in September. Since we haven't been here before, we wanted to check it out and see what it was like. After getting set up, we were outside relaxing and met the couple at the site across from us from IL. While we were talking, 4 deer came out and was eating the grass at the site next to us, didn't even bother them that we were nearby (unlike Mitch).

I have pics to post, but I'm tired and it's late, so that will be tomorrow.

Well if you hadn't been drinking so many Carolyn Coolers, maybe your tank wouldn't have filled up so fast. Glad to hear you escaped in one piece, however. Thanks for the laughs.

I finally got a good connection to load pics on the puter, so here goes...

Since we arrived a day early, we surprised Mitch, but got a good pic of her coming from around the back of the house.



She had been doing some house cleaning, just kinda cleaning out closets and stuff.



We helped her haul it all outside and put it in barrels to take to their dump in back of their house.



Here are the stairs leading up to the Blue Marlin Spa and Fitness Center. (I think that's what she named it.)



Here she is sitting on the hearth in front of their fireplace. I think that's gonna be their next project and she wanted some before photos. I think she got mad last Christmas, didn't like her gifts or something and ripped down her stocking, making a hole in the fireplace. But I'm sure they'll make it purdy again. G was sitting in his blue recliner, you can see in the photo there, but got camera shy and slipped out of the pic.

OMG, I am just sorry I have been so busy and didn't get to check in until now. I missed the yak yak yak back and forth but the reading what too funny. Gut wrenching and I mean that in the best of ways for both you gals. Loved the pix of Ronnie after the shine.
