My girlfriend in Tucson is in the hospital not doing good, so she sure dosn't need me there to make her sick...I tell ya eeting Karenand having you all to talk to has been my only high point this week...Thanks for listening..

I had bronchitis once too, but fortunately I went to the doctor before it got a good start on me. No fun though. Hope you don't need the oxygen too long. Take care and rest up.

Gosh, my dad went in to Urgent Care this morning with the same type of thing! He's been really sick. He thought he had pneumonia but they said that's not what it is. They did put him on an anti-biotic tho. There is a lot of stuff going around right now. Is bronchitis contagious like a virus or an infection like pneumonia?

Hope you're feeling better Mary...are you still in Silver City? Take care of yourself and don't try to do to much to soon, that's nothing to mess around with.

I'm glad you got yourself checked out. And hopefully some good drugs. I have chronic bronchitis with my asthma,... it's no fun! Sure hope this is just a passing thing with you and you are on the mend very soon.

I used to get bronchitis twice a year until I got my tonsils out in 1972. No problem since; guess they were the source of infection that brought on the bronchitis.

Yup, Mary, better to sit still and get well and you sure don't want to get into the higher elevations with chest problems. Stay in the flatlands for a while. Thanks for checking in, stay in touch. And watch those toenails, they'll scratch your throat! 'Specially if you haven't trimmed them lately.

Don't know if this'll help or not, but used to help the kids when they had Bronchitis....Bring a pan of water to boil, add a few drops of peppermint oil, put a towel over your head and the pan and breathe the steam deep into your chest. Helps to loosen the mucous and soothe the cough.
