Thursday...Morning... I finally made it on line... We lost power and apparently there was an accident..Someone hit the utility pole...so I'm in a mad dash to get things going here..... you know what happens when you run just a tad behind... Look out .. you're in my way ... !!!!

Amazing how critters when on a schedule and things change..they look at you... "Like, what's your problem today"... LOL

RV Granny (Lori and Ernie) Happy to hear you reached one phase of your destination..and are having a good time seeing the sights...now as far as the Bourbon goes...mmmmm not my thing but I do remember one of my Aunts making a Bourbon C ake that dang near took your breath away...Have to look and see if I have that recipe.. LOL Yes, don't sit close to the campfire for sure !!!

Asirimarco (Carol ) I don't get that channel but I sure hope you gals that do will watch it.. and I don't blame you for letting us all know.. Mom (Carol) you have every right to be very proud.... I'd be shouting it from the house top...ummmm but where you live.. you is right.. might not be able to hear but an echo...and speaking of Echo..

Goooood Morning!

Gosh Barbz it seems like most of the time I'm on the run when all I want to do is sit and collapse. ~sigh~ When I have a little extra time it seems to drag cause nothing is going on. I would guess that would come under the heading of 'feast or famine'? Like being late for work, school, date or meeting? It never fails, ya always get stuck behind the slowest, pokiest poop on the road....

Today is our Friday? Cause we have off tomorrow but have to work Saturday thru till Friday this coming week. And then have the weekend off. Tomorrow Kelly and I will be looking for other jobs. We both have to get out of there. Our depts. got changed Tuesday. She was put into the one called 5 day BI, which actually is the easiest one in the place. I got changed to 60 day collections. That dept has the worst freaking supervisor going. Talk about having a rod stuck up her butt. She is so by the book that it's sickening. She pulled one of my calls yesterday and did a quality check on it and gave me a big fat 0% on it. Didn't matter that I got a good payment on the account. I was unprofessional and I am not suppose to be joking with the customers. I think until I get out of there I will be getting a lot of 0% ratings on my calls.

Ok Kelly is done with her shower and it's time to get dressed and go back to the sweatshop for my regular + overtime hours. YUCK.

Just stopping in for a quick cup this morning. We made it here to Alabama early last evening and are all set up in a State Park. Not much detail yet since it started to rain hard before we could explore.

We had a wonderful time in FL, including an airboat ride with one of DB's friends.

My laptop got a virus last Thurs. or Fri, so we're trying to clean that mess up. No online banking or billpay till then so it's pretty frustrating now. I have really missed the forum though and will need to try to get back up to speed with all your goings on. Have a great day, all.

Hi and good morning - well I apologize to any one who watched that TV show last night - I won't be watching it again. I did see the motorcycle though - he did a good job. But then he always did. Still no rain here and we really need it - weather says we should get some today - hope so the poor farmers - first they got washed out now they are drying up.
Got a call from the RV place - they "are working on the refrigerater" ??? "but don't know what is wrong with it yet"???
Spent half of yesterday still working on the web site - my husband can't believe the patience I have with it - little does he know the words that I am keeping inside. Patience is not one of my virtues.
Echo - I can't believe that job of yours - I'd probably be in jail by now for doing bodily harm to a supervisor. Hang in there girl and good luck with the job hunt.

I just got back from a walk in a lovely much needed, soft rain. The cool front they promised has lowered the temps thank goodness, it has been so humid it has been hard to breath outside.
Of course I'm not a fan of summer weather and was so happy to turn my calendar to September. My calendar has pictures of Standard Poodles on each month and this month it is a cream colored puppy that is making me want a puppy. No I won't do it, three dogs at this point is almost more than I can keep up with but...still it does cross my mind. Maybe I should look for a puppy that belongs to someone who works that needs doggy daycare. I did that with a little Bichon one time. The owners were so happy what he learned in 'class' each day, I don't think it was my training capabilities he was just a really smart little dog!
I've hired a student to help out around here once a week and she starts today. I won't kennel my dogs so it is good to have someone else who knows the routine. It's hard to get away for even a whole day without someone to come in and let them out. Plus we all love having a young person around, the dogs get so excited and bring out all their toys. Over the past 8 years I've had two students, so far the only draw back is when they graduate, it is really hard to see them move away. My standard always learns their schedule and on the appointed day and time waits by the door. One was with us for 4 years and the other for three and last year I didn't have anyone but realized I was tired of not having a back up. So, wish me luck that I have made a good choice, I had so many apply it was a really hard decision.

I am still at Ft Whaley Campground. It is almost deserted. School has started in Maryland so families left on Labor Day. I have enjoyed my family this week. Chasing my 13 month GGD has made me feel 50 again. lol We stood at the edge of the waves and when she shook my hands off to face the waves alone made my heart sing. (of course I stood ready) My mantra to my family "We don't have wussie women in our family". I make my dd and gd shake their heads and I turn my ds hair gray. I am spending the day at Aasateague Island on the beach with another gd who can only spend a couple of hours. Life is good. I leave tomorrow for home ahead of thunderstorms and a rainy weekend. I am finished my coffee and need to pack what isn's necessary for today. Hope all is well at your house.

Good morning ! Thanks for the birthday wishes We're all packed up and ready to roll! Did not put too much in the car in case we decide to go somewhere with friends and need the back seat, so I have only 2 big plastic containers in the back seat and 3 crab traps that can easily be removed . I packed behind the back seat too so of course I made sure George my skeleton and the Witch were packed in the car. Hey next month is Halloween and you know George and witchy poo have to watch our campsite!.....OK I'm crazy about Halloween!!! . Heck I have enough costumes we can think of something to wear along the way

I'm ready to head for the beaches and see the beautiful coast line of Oregon and then in Oct mosey down CA before coming back to Yuma and hopefully Aussiegirl & Bob will be there with us again. Aussie girl (Gill) is such a hoot!! Miss ya here girlfriend!

It is a little after 5:00 PM-------- we just pulled back into Kansas-------- after the move to Mo---got the moving truck unloaded & everyhting put away------- & back in Kansas to meet the auctioneer in the morning to prepare for auctions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We sure hated to leave our new home & come back but here we are------- & time will fly before we know it the acutions will be over with also---------- lots of work to do to get ready!!!
