Felix, still with us

Postby SeeyaGal » Wed May 12, 2010 9:46 am

Just letting everyone know that Felix is still with us, eating, drinking and wanting attention but does have his good days and bad days. The tumors are growing at a alarming rate just under his skin. The areas around the left side of his neck are huge again ( they were removed) but he is still able to eat and drink. He is doing well with the traveling and alot of times just wants to lay in my lap.

He is being strange though that he sleeps on the bathroom sink counter at night for some odd reason but he is hanging in there and when my sister came yesterday he went over to her and slept in her lap.

So just posting that this feisty old cat is still alive, he'll be 16 in Aug

He might surprise you Jenny! My beloved Tim lived to be 19.5 y/o. Felix is obviously getting so much love and good care that he wants to stay with you for a while. :D

He might be trying to find a cool place to sleep. My cats have sometimes liked laying in the tub or on the bathroom tile because it is cooler for them.

It is strange that he wants to be cooler because at night it has been chilly and he has no more fat on him like before. He's hanging in there though but wanting to be by himself alot more and not around the other two cats.

Glad he's still able to enjoy his days with you and you with him.

I'm crossing my fingers there is not a pet limit at the campground we are going to for a month so all three cats can go outside in the cat condo. Because we are at a 2 pet limit area tonight we can't let them outside and they are not happy! :?

Can't you let two out at a time. Who would notice they were different cats?

Horn Rapids is fine with 3 cats Yahooo!!! They are happy to go outside and love sitting in the grass and eating it or sitting in the condo. They are not happy that we keep taking off and having our own fun though and then they have to stay inside. :x . We like our site though, great for a month.
They will not be happy though that I am going to take off for at least 3 or 4 days with my Aunt and they are stuck with just Dan lol

Not only do they love their routines, they think it's their job to set OUR routines.

So glad Felix is still around and giving you love. You and he will both know if/when the time comes - meantime, enjoy every minute you have together. And don't feel guilty for time away - they'll all try to make you do that.

How is Felix doing?
My mom had a cat named Felix. He was a really cool cat!

I thought of you on Friday as I was driving up I-5 and a SeeYa pulling a Jeep passed me. I think you are closer to Spokane, tho.
Keep in touch and glad you and Rete are getting your money's worth from the cassinos!!
