Carol,
In other words, they wanted to be able to show you a higher weight YOU could use to put things in/on the vehicle. I suggest part of that weight be in adding a spare tire. Just me, like I said before, it's one of the things I wouldn't be without.

DITTO A 3rd time.....We had a flat on the 5er just 13 miles from Quantico, VA on our way home in April....took us about an hour and a half to change it and during that time not 1 person stopped to offer help....We have AAA, but didn't call....Ernie & I are of the mind to use it for other emergencies...but even if I was traveling by myself, I would still attempt to change it myself before calling...Just the way I was raised.... :lol:
