Very nice. I've always liked 5th wheels ... the layouts are much more varied than in MHs, much more like homes. I feel like I want to walk in, sit down and visit with ya!

Thanks, ladies.

I went back and forth with dinette or table and chairs. They both had disadvantages and advantages. As you can see, Table and chairs won. :-) I also went back and forth on motorhome or truck and fifth. They both had disadvantages and advantages. As you can see, truck and fifth, won. :-)

Carolyn...I love it! I have had an "L" kitchen and miss that the most. I really like your office area!!! Very cool 8-) We started out with a huge 39' 5th wheel, then a 37' motor home, and now a 40' diesel pusher. All have had the table and chairs. I've never tied down the chairs. I just tuck them as far under the table as I can and they stay put. If you make sure the front chair legs are up around the table supports, they don't move. Make sure the table is screwed down to the floor, though ;) It is nice to be able to unhook it and move it out in the middle when you have guests eating with you, but it is so unstable that way. It tips if someone leans on it, so I don't use it that way much. My new "home sweet motor home" has the dinette, so will see how I like it. I'm hoping the dog kennel fits on one of the benches so I can get it out of the way since I don't have slides. I'm kind of glad I don't have slides as that has been a problem area for us as far as the hydrolics and also rain leakage. There is another little table coming out of the wall with chairs like the driver's seat that I can use, also, but think it will be my computer desk. Not sure 'til I get in it tomorrow ;) I have a girlfriend who has a dinette in her class c and she likes the storage underneath. I think I will too, since I won't have as many kitchen cupboards in a 34 footer...and I have a lot of kitchen gadgets :o I agree that there is more room in your 34' than mine, but I personally prefer driving and parking a mh. Each to her own ;) I have to agree that you get a lot more for your money in a tt or 5th wheel. Thanks for sharing your pics and I will be sharing mine soon!

Beautiful "home"! Love the kitchen space. Since I've been out looking at rigs, that's the one thng I am now watchng for, counter space. Love the paneling too and the table/chairs. Readilng thrugh the posts gives me some pros and cons on the table/chair combos. Also love the other corner chairs. Recliners I suppose. :)

Well, I've only had Myrtle for a few days, but so far I like the Booth table. With just me and Rags, I can stow my laptop and printer on one of the benches. The drawers under them have nice pull-outs with wire baskets attached, so sturdy enough for my heavy stainless steel pots and pans. I also have the extra little pop up table behind the copilot seat that I can use to eat on or prepare food or play a game or whatever...very versatile! We are bonding and I think I love her!

Linda, so glad you are loving your "new to you" motorhome!
I'm excited to get behind the wheel of mine again. This weekend I babysit g'kids again. Next week is the last week for bowling every Tues. And hopefully after my Dr appt tomorrow, I'll be done with those for a while, too! Then the only thing holding me here is having to mow grass!!

Oh, just let it grow, Lenora. You know how much we like adventure, you can come back home after a trip and "find" things in your yard again!

Just one of the many reasons full timers are so happy...no mowing! Now I will get paid to do anything like that!

Lenora, ditto what Vickie said. Mow it before you leave, maybe a little shorter than usual, and mow when you get back. No problem for 10 days to 2 weeks. Longer than that, find a local kid to just mow for a week or two. Don't let mowing the grass keep you home. :D Just my opinion. Linda

LOL, well here in the PNW when the grass starts growing it's hard to keep up with it. I have to mow no less than 2xs a week! And I have very strict CCRs here. We get fined for not mowing our lawns!!

It's painful, but I hire someone to do my lawn all summer. And then there's the pool service to keep the pool pristine for no one. But as you said, there's code enforcement otherwise.

Sunshine, I love your rig, but it's a tad bigger than I really think I need. I've been reading your blog for a while - my friend Brenda Baird sent me your link - so I know you shopped at Cullom & Maxie. Just saw they are having a big event this weekend so I think I will go "windowshopping". I have this itch to just walk through a few models. Not planning to buy anything this weekend (still doing some flood cleanup with the house so I can put it back on the market) but hope to get a better feel for what I need/want.
