Guess I'll throw another log on the fire and sit a spell.

Tuesday I'll finish up packing the rv and Wednesday we'll head to NW TN and make Mitch's life miserable for a while. Image

My niece and her friend and her friend's son will be staying at our house to take care of Remi and Weatherby for us. We usually board them at the vet's, but they volunteered and it'll save us about $600, so I'm not complaining! It's always better to not have the house sit empty anyway. I wouldn't want to come home to a surprise like Pooker had to.

I've been thinking about Lenora and wondered if anybody had heard from her.

Big hugs to you and your family, Lenora. I was so sad to have to read the latest news about your sister. It brings to mind a book I once read called something like, "The Forty blows" or something like that? You must have had your quota of blows by now. Hang in there, and be mindful of your own health while you are going through this difficult time, please. When I am home here, I will have a candle lit for your sister, sending her comforting thoughts and strength. I will be thinking of you.

My sister passed away early this morning, on her 57th birthday. She fought hard to the end. Was always on morphine so was never conscious thru it all. I still have not processed it and have yet to release my grief. Wake Thurs. Funeral Fri. I plan on staying in Illinois till the 18th.
Thank you all for the love and support.

..

{{{{{ Lenora }}}}} I cannot begin to imagine the sense of loss of a sister.
I hope knowing she is without pain in the arms of God brings you some comfort.
He'll take good care of her, you know.
I'm so sad for you.
