Good Luck on your first trip! You'll do just fine. Take some pics of your travels and campground and post them, let us know how it went and where you are.

You'll do fine and remember, no matter what happens, it's all a learning experience! Teaches you just what to do and what not to do!

Ditto what's been said.

I also moved this to the General Talk Room - either that or I would have combined it with the existing morning thread - but think this deserved it's own thread - in a room where maybe more will see it.

That was so odd, I was in the morning thread and before I could check this one out, POOF, its gone. Good way to make an old woman think she was loosing it !! So glad I found it here and Beth explained what happened.

Good luck on your first trip, everything will go well. When you pull into the park, you will have a lot of men offer to help, (if you're alone), they think we can't do anything. But if you're unsure of yourself, and they make you nervous, let them play their macho part. You will have made that mans day  Whatever help you do accept, watch carefully, he might do it wrong too.

You'll do good, enjoy yourself, stress and worry only make us ill, everything always works out. Plenty of practice, helped us all !!!!

Safe and Happy travels,
CArol

Hey Mary, if you are real nervous, go to the KOA there in LC, upon Picacho on the west side of town. Tell them this is your first trip and ask them if they can help you on parking and hooking up. That is a group of fantastic folks there. They helped me on my first, second and third trip in and out. Absolutely saved my trailer, sanity, and made my times there great experiences.

Chris, Tony, Ralphy and Leah are right there, all of them helping you, all you have to do is ask. The first time, is scary, but so exciting. When you get parked and in your rig and the door closed, you will absolutely smile the smile, laugh, giggle and love everything. Have a great time and be sure to let us know all about your first experience.

She's coming to visit me in Silver City on Saturday so she will get her Flamingo glass. Just call me (830 285-0531 Cell) and I'll walk over to the office to help you. AM looking forward to meeting her. What better way to start your travels than to meet me huh?

I think Mary just joined the forum so she could visit Karen and get a flamingo glass.

(Even if that was true - you couldn't have come to a better place.)

Enjoy yourselves, you two. And, yep, we'll expect pics.
