Sometimes they want you to do a haircut for them and sometimes they don't. Depends on the manager. I will do a sit down interview first and then if she wants me to do a haircut, I will bring someone in to do the cut on later. I had one manager at the GC I worked at before who would hire anyone who walked in the door with a pair of scissors in their hand. Needless to say, she had a lot of turnover. One guy she hired didn't even have a license and she didn't find out until she asked him for it on his first day at work. Which reminds me, I need to remember to bring my license with me.
I will let you all know how it goes! It sure would be nice to get a decent paycheck again!

Still feel like crap today. Hope this thing doesn't hang on for too long! I hate being sick!

My sister, Pam, was hospitalized on Monday. They found a spot on her liver and did a biopsy. Today the results came back as positive. The family will speak with an oncologist this afternoon. Her family Dr thought they would probably do further tests to see where the cancer originated, probably a colonscopy and a stomach scope. Not sure right now.

Please lift her up to the Lord and the family also. She is married with two grown boys, a DIL and two small grandsons. She will be 57 on the 11th.

Thank you and God Bless,

Lenora

Lenora, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister's results. That is always scary but hopefully it was caught early and they can get her treated right away. My nephew is now going thru the radiation treatments on the site where they removed his tumor on his back last month. My prayers will include Pam and family!

So sorry to hear about your sister. But here again, hopefully it was caught in time. The treatments out now are so much more advanced then they were years ago. I will keep her in my prayers.

I will be praying for your sister and her family, too, Lenora! What is your sister's name? Also praying for your nephew, Barbie!

Sending healing thoughts and energy your way, Lenora, for both you and your sister. I am glad you got the biopsy results in a hurry so you aren't just left dangling. Now comes the fighting, and WINNING! Keep us iupdated on any other test results. I will keep a candle lit for Pam.

Talked to my family in Illinois last night and found out my sister's cancer is stage 4 in her lungs and liver. Possibily in her breast area and pancreas. Even with that they sounded hopeful with chemo etc. Then this morning at 6 got the dreaded call that she is getting worse quickly and now they are saying she may not last the weekend. I am numb. I feel like I am dreaming this whole thing and want to wake up. I am trying to make arrangements to fly out. Also need to talk to my Dr as my bp shot sky high and I got a severe headache, which isn't good. Need to talk to my Dr before I leave. Thanks for continued prayers.
