Welcome Kimberly. Ah, a fellow collie owner. Sable, tri? Wow, you sure are off on an adventure. Sometimes I think I woul like to try that, but not mve from my home state of Michigan. Just sell my house and do a bit of traveling, but have a home base to come back to. I'm new on this forum too and probably will never catch up with all the posts, conversations etc. that have appeared over time. So I ocassinally pop up a question that was probably answered back when, but didn't see it.
I'm in the process of looking for an RV too. Pinned my trailer choice down to a Rockwood 1809S, but not sure I want to pull a trailer. Also looking at Class C motorhomes. Would love a Class B, but they are really pricey even used. Plus I like you have two dogs and need room. So I am watching and looking right now. It' early in the season yet. Looking forward to hearing of your travels to TN and your future adventures. :)

WELCOME, KIMBERLY, SARAH, AND ALL THE 4-FOOTERS!

I can't wait to get into your blog/jurnal sites to check those out, but they will have to wait for another day when I have the time to relax. In the meantime, I will anxiously await some posts from you on this forum!

HI Kimberly,

I can't wait to read your site. Thank you (shoot, I can't remember who) to whoever it was that posted the link. I'll go there latter when I don't have the distraction of "Hardball" and can really focused.

Years ago I worked with para and quadriplegic persons at the Medical School. I was really badly disabled myself over ten years ago....my MRI was like a 72 year old stroke victim. Couldn't read. Couldn't stay awake. It was something. I have
recovered a lot.....am sort of getting age appropriate in the brain dept. I love that you are working with animals and
pet therapy. Did you know that snakes are wonderful in pet therapy with autistic kids? I wish I had the patience to do the work you do. I think you are so honorable.

It will be great fun to follow your trip. I'm new here to. It's hard to start learning people with responses. I"m only starting to get any sense of that. And, slow is o.k. One foot in front of the other gets you there anyway, I figure.

Welcome,

Deborah (DD)

Thanks again, everyone for such a wonderful welcome. :-) I am very much looking forward to getting know all of you!

So many comments have been made about my story/my ability to overcome. While my story is remarkable, I am just a regular person put into extraordinary circumstances. Each one of is has what it takes to be a champion in life---trust me! It just takes a little nudging to get it out---in my case, a tractor-trailer nudged it out of me, and I turned to my faith and my service dogs to overcome the rest. I guess what I'm getting at, is that It isn't I that you should be impressed with at all---I definately didn't/couldn't have done what I have on my own! ;-)

I'm so grateful that Mitch introduced me to this wonderful group! It is I who is blessed to have the opportunity to know you all! Thank you for all the wonderful, warm welcomes and kind words!

Kimberly, I would like to add my WELCOME. I just finished reading the link, Mitch posted and while we, on this forum, might help with your r.v. questions and hopefully with our foolishness, lift your spirits at times. I believe we will benefit more by your inspirational attitude towards any problems, with your faith and determination. I only thought I had had obstacles in my life.

I hope one day to meet you. I live in North Carolina, not far from Tn. and travel there quite often. I for one am very glad you have joined us and will look forward to hearing of your new journey.

God Bless and Safe and Happy travels,
Carol
