The powers-that-be at school recalculated my number of years I have been there, and discovered I really am entitled to what everyone gets for an incentive after 15 years of service-----I even came out with more years than that! PLUS the extra, one-time incentive payment of another $3,000 to get us oldsters to pull out now to protect the jobs of the youngsters. PLUS a percentage of my unused sick days! So you can believe I will drag myself to school now for the rest of the year, no matter how sick I might get!

I am so excited I could dance around a campfire, if anyone were here to join me! I will have enough to pay off my biggest monthly loan payments with some left over to sock into a savings account!

I will begin my official retirement letter tomorrow!

Image Congrats Soos. That's great news. Doesn't it feel so great when news like that comes along. I'm hoping that I can do it next year but it won't be on a grand scale like that. Just getting the old SS like everybody else. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. Dance like nobody's watching.
