Big Stone Mini Golf

Here are pics of that unique mini-golf course Linda and I went to the other day... There are a lot here but it was hard to decide which ones to post (these aren't even half of them!)

This is an upside down boat hull with holes cut out and colorful glass designs hanging in each hole.

Inside the boat hull:

These were stone carved pumpkins with metal sculpted leaves and flowers:

This was the last hole. The ball ends up in this water maze and slowly flows thru it to the end and then disappears down a hole...

There is my ball just about thru the water maze...

Here are just some of the various sculptures...

Rock, paper, scissors...

There is a firepit in the middle...

This is hard to see but it is a cartoon-like eagle in it's nest..

That's a really neat place! I'd think more people would go just to look than to actually play!

wow,...somebody should grab that antique McCormick-Deering tractor and restore it. A shame to see it out rusting away! We have an antique tractor club in this area that my grandson belongs to. He's restored an antique Allis Chalmers.

Very interesting, makes the game a lot of fun to play among the sculptures! :D

This has got to be the most unusual golf course I've ever seen. Thanks for the photos.

It is just west of me, about 25 miles straight west of Minneapolis. They need to advertise more. It really is an amazing place! I've been telling everyone I know about it, and most of them say they knew nothing about it and yet they live close by.

I am a big miniature golf and this is the coolest course I have ever seen!!! Thanks for posting the pics, Barbie. I should have taken some of you with your camera. Wish I could add some of my pics. Not sure when I will be able to do that. It was so much fun to go there! I would definitely go again: -)

Well, come on back up!! We never did get to Fletchers just down the street! Are you still going to name your flamingo "Fletcher"? When you come back up here, we can take him to Fletchers and take a photo of him next to their sign.

Wonderful pictures of such unique place! I hate golf, but I wouldn't even have to play there----just look at all the neat artwork! I especially like the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" sculpture! Thanks so much or the pics!

Would love to go to Fletcher's with Fletcher and you, Barbie! Maybe an excuse to get dolled up! Think you will be coming here before I get back up there, but you never know ;)
