Sophie's new job

Postby retiredhappy » Fri Apr 16, 2010 5:13 pm

Sophie has a new job. They decided that due to her special personality they would make her the official KOA greeter - a job which she takes very seriously. She will be paid in treats and lots and lots of petting with everyone saying, "Oh, look at that cute little face."

Enjoy your job, Sophie...you're a natural. Once you've proved your worth, go ahead and ask for a raise.

Does she look the part or what  I can just see her with her own flamingo outfit to match yours with glass in "hand". You did good, girl :D Maybe KOA will make her their mascot and she'll be famous like the Geico gecko. carold

Good for Sophie!!! Love the shirt!! Spinner says that being the " official greeter"is a very rewarding job and pays good in the Puppy treat department.....and yes, after a couple weeks, a pay raise of a good chew bone is in order... ;)

Cute! Are Buddy and Sassy jealous that Sophie has a new job and shirt and they don't?

Buddy and Sassy - work???? Are you crazy? They're offended that I actually put them outside in their pen for a while with no bed to lay on. As an older generation they're very tolerant of the "kid" and all her energy as long as they're not expected to put forth any effort to keep up with her.

I bet Sophie does a great job as a greeter.

Sammie was the greeter at the campground last summer. Had to meet every camper that came in. She would get very upset and start barking if I didn't let her out of the motorhome.

To Buddy and Sassy WORK is a four letter word, one they teamed up to pretend not to understand. As far as they are concerned, what Sophie doesn't know will allow her to use up all that energy someplace else. :D You look adorable Spohie, now don't work too hard. Linda

As they say in the south (well, Oklahoma, anyway), ain't she jist it! What a cutie! Karen, you didn't work at the KOA last year, did you? Thought you were at that CG that was in town. DH and I were offered a job there when we stayed, a few years ago. The owner told Jack he could do the outside work, electrical, plumbing etc and I could work the office. He started laughing and said she had it backwards....he was the office nerd and his wife was the electrical and plumbing whiz. Told her he was afraid of electrical and didn't touch plumbing. This from a man who worked mechanic and heavy equipment all of his life. LOL!
