You also need to set your defaults on it - done much the same way as on IE - I think under tools - don't have Firefox open right now.

Chrome is causing problems with one of my web suppliers - and what's funny - it's someone who works for Google who recommended Firefox to me the first time. I'm sure they took lots of the Firefox things to put in Chrome. I won't use many of Googles things - as they keep all your info - forever - and ever. I love lots of things Google does, but they really are big brother.

Yes, I did search their sight for an answer and to no avail. Someone 2 yrs ago asked the same question, but no one answered it.

Lori, right clicking gets me the same options as clicking on "file" from the toolbar. Nothing about making the page a shortcut on my desktop, and, yes I can click on send, but again, that uses MS Office as the email instead of Comcast.

Beth, I set Foxfire as my default browser under tools, options etc, but I haven't found a place for email.

Click on Start in lower left hand corner. Click on Set Program Access and Defaults. Check Custom and there is a drop down menu. You can set your default email, etc. from there. I still like my Chrome. Mozilla Firefox caused me major problems....always freezing up and had to keep restarting my computer.

I did find that area, but didn't see any way to make it switch to Comcast. Not listed in drop down box, nor could I type anything in the space. I'm thinking I'll switch back to IE anyway.
I was having the freeze up problem with IE and thought Foxfire would be different, but I'm still having the same issues. I think it's my provider, Comcast. They haven't been the same since they started changing over to digital, Instead of faster, it's slower!

I never used to use the right click either,... but a few years ago I learned that there's magic in that right side of the mouse,... I use that a lot now. I also use the scroll in the middle a lot too. :D

I have Verizon broadband since we are full timers and have rarely had any problems. Not sure if I will keep doing that now that I will be solo. May just keep the media feature for my Droid since I can use it for internet, too (that's what I'm using for this note). I can use Wifi for awhile and see how it goes. Actually, if XDH will plug his Mifi into an outlet, I can mooch off of his within 100 feet. Not sure what your Comcast costs or if you are in a good wireless signal area, but you might look into Verizon for broadband service...if you have a cell phone...especially if you travel a lot. I love it! I call my son whenever I have computer questions. Remember, he's the geek :geek: If you would like, I can ask him to help you. He can even walk me through things when he's in his car. It's a piece of cake to him.
