Just a bit of trivia, Louisiana is the only state that doesn't have counties, they're called parishes here.

Liz - Sure have enjoyed your travels especially since I have never even been close to that part of our country!!
Aren't God's creations just breathtaking? And, they are all around us. Thanks for sharing.

My little Ruffles (11-1/2 yr old Lhasa Apso) is also having a leg problem. She has luxating patella (I think that's what the vet calls it) - her knees slip out, has been limping for about 3 weeks and is on anti inflamatory. Vet also thinks she pulled a ligament in her hind leg. Hope Roe heals quickly - and Ruffles too. Poor little puppies!!
