Kellie, I looked up your post, it was called Cloud Nine RV Park. It doesn't look like a very big park, but very pretty. I liked Lake Catherine because it is on the water and they also have cabins for those who don't have rv's yet. But thanks for the info, I remembered somebody talking about the bath house, but couldn't remember who it was so when I found your post and read about the relaxing time you had there, ahhhhh, just might be something we'll have to try.

You ladies need to visit a bath house and indulge in a bath package. Read my post from January for full description. I looked at Lake Catherine web site before I went but ended up staying at a private cg run by women right on top of a mountain, 10 miles from town. If you're interested i can dig up the name.

Kellie, how far in advance would we have to make a reservation for the bath experience?

Sharon it says you don't need reservations or appointments. I'm surprised at how inexpensive it is.

I was surprised, too, Vickie. When we're on the bikes and anywhere in Colorado, we go here for at least 1 nite. Worth every penny!

I'll just have to keep reminding myself....It's not my plant, I don't work there, and if something blows up it's not my responsibility!!!! Jeesh, I'm talking like I'm going to be there!! Vickie, is that balloon festival on while the GTG is on? Maybe to crowded to go at that time?

After Sharon's question about being crowded, I did some more digging. That Friday and Saturday, will not only be the balloon fest, but will also be a big 2 day concert in conjunction with Tracy Byrd's All American Outdoor thing with more big name musicians so I'm thinking really crowded. That said, I'm thinking that with all that going on the last of the month and with Labor Day the 6th, how about 3 or 4 days some time during the week of Sept. 13th - 17th. Which days would work for everybody? Let me know what works for yall!

I'm retired, any days work for me if I can swing the trip. If it's the week my son is off work (he works 2 weeks on, 1 week off), they may have to come down and join the gtg.

Hey, I can close my eyes, or smoke some weed, and pretend it's Oz...add some vivid colors, it looks a lot like that far off scene of Oz in the original movie...the loud booms I could just attribute to the end result of Vickie's bad cooking...

If you're gonna be smokin weed and having loud booms coming out of your end I may have to rethink the site next to you. :?

Vickie: Mid Sept thru mid-Oct okay for me. I do agree on trying to avoid the crowds. Could we have a longer gtg if done in early to mid Oct?
