WEDNESDAY....middle of the week

Good morning
ahhh, I slept really good last night, woke up early and here I am!
Coffee is one and I really need a little toast to settle my tummy.
Seems a little extra chilly this morning but of course it will warm
up a little when the sun comes up.
Another day, another 30 cents, ahhh life is grand :D
enjoy and be safe

A GOOD LATE MORNING TO AVA AND US ALL!

I had to come inside this morning to do this coffee thing, as my WiFi signal is too iffy to post and read out in the trailer today. Yesterday it was perfect!

It's already 55 out there, and the sun is trying to come out of the clouds. I haven't looked at the weather forecast yet, and don't intend to, as whatever will be will be and I have no plans other than to go have my mammogram and routine blood drawing tomorrow morning. So I will be very late getting on here tomorrow.

It was beautiful in the trailer last night! I think I heard thunder off in the distance a couple of times, but I was very thankful it stayed far away....I HATE thunder and lightning, and so does Molly!

I guess I'll see if I can figure out a way to take my lawnmower to the repair shop so I can be ready for another summer of mowing. Either that, or maybe I'll buy me a new one. Either way, I have to find a way to get it from here to there or from there to here. Maybe I can ramp it up into my truck.

I got a message from Sunshine Cruiser this morning, which I will answer after I post this----regarding not being able to get to my maps on my website. I haven't touched the site lately, but you do have to have a password to get to the map page. I will send you a private message with that info in it, Sun! Along with info on the closest airports, depending upon where your friend will want to fly to. (Horrible English grammar, I know!)

Today I will find something to do....I will take Molly for a walk to the pond and see if I can drive my truck anywhere close to the kicker to try to jumpstart it. Both my son and Mandy's guy, Joe, think its engine is frozen-----kaput----blown. I will be very sad if that's the case, but they could be correct.

Other than that, my vacation days are whizzing by, and I will just revel in having no schedule for another few. I also need to decide how I am going to pay the 2,000 plus dollars I owe the state and the feds for income taxes this year. I guess credit card is the only way to go. Sigh.

I was glad to see Carol's Ruckus date on her itinerary! YAY! I will be going to Alburgh following the Ruckus, so won't be able to go to AuSable Point. I am thinking I really need to call KOA and see if I can get a reservation there for Memorial Day weekend, however. If my favorite site is already taken, maybe I'll try AuSable Point. Or maybe I'll just stay right here!

Off I go to get fresh coffee----hope to see you all on here sometime today!

Happy Wednesday! I can't wait until I don't have to fret about the time going by so danged fast. I hate that vacation days pass in lightning spped.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Ahh...nothing like 8 hours of sleep to get me going! I'm ready to go and, as usual, D soon to be XH, crawled back in bed...his morning ritual. If we didn't have the car to drive, too, I could just start her up and go! Just finishing my breakfast, so may as well go walk the boys. Taking my new pepper spray with me! We had tornado watches last night, but nothing bad here...thank God! Got a little shower in the night and it's cool and cloudy here in Davenport, IA. Planning to stay at Adventureland in Altoona until we head up to Forest City to pick up my mh. Not many places to stay this early in the season. Will be good to see my mommy again!

Glad you're feeling a bit better, Ava! Hope that combo of the pink stuff and Immodium doesn't have the opposite affect on you! Activia!

Have a great day, girls! I'll check in with you later!

Apparently a slow day on here! I'm still suffering from my cold thingy. I took some powerful stuff last night to knock me out and I was 2 hours late for work this morning! Was kind of out of it all day too. Then came home and took a 3 hour nap. Got up, made some cookies and am now ready to go back to bed!

Buster seems to be doing better today, moving around pretty good now when he is out for playtime. Looks like I will be spared a vet bill!

Was a beautiful day today and suppose to be nice thru the weekend. Next week up near 80 but thunderstorms most of the week. Everything is starting to turn a little green now. Docks and boats are already going in. There is a large dining club with out-door deck on the lake just down the road from me. They have lots of docks and it's very popular in the summer with the boaters and boater wannabe's. I saw a big cruiser parked there this weekend, so I know summer is just about here! Also, got an e-mail today about our annual golf league I play on, starting in 4 weeks! Yay! I can't wait!!!

Hope everyone had a good day today!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
