I don't watch nearly as much TV as I used to. Just isn't much interesting to watch now days. I love my Animal Planet (altho nothing much good on there lately either, lots of violent animal attack shows, etc). Also HGTV, Travel channel, TLC. I love Two and a Half Men, Ghost Whisperer and Medium. May have to check out those cowboys! Hmmmm! I spend a lot of time on my laptop and reading books. Can't stand to watch the news anymore either. Too much violence. I read headlines on the internet and if something sounds interesting, I will read about it. Also watch PGA golf but that's it for the weekends. Haven't watched a movie in a long time. Would rather be reading on the porch, playing with my animals or doing something outside (weather permitting).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

After being able to watch just 3 channels over the air for all my life, having this new-fangled satellite TV is like a miracle to me! Not only do I watch some of my favorite things, like Two and a Half Men, Animal Planet, (when it doesn't deal with abused animals), Discovery, History, Biography, and CNN all day long-- just to listen to rather than watch. I suffer from Tinitus, too, so I leave my TV on all night to help drown out that infernal hum in my head. I am all set up in this trailer to have cable TV, over the air free stuff via my antenna on the roof, or satellite now that I have bought me that portable dish. I will order one more receiver from Direct TV, so I cna leave one in here no matter where I may roam, and I won't have to remove one of mine from the house. Then I will learn how to set it all up! One of my TVs is in the living area, and the other is on a little shelf at the foot of my bed. I also have my new 12 volt mini TV in the truck camper! I never watch any movies----I really dislike any and all movies, but will watch any documentaries that appeal to me, if I know one is on. I loved Lynn Rogers' video on Animal Planet on Sunday, for instance.

When was that on? I wanted to watch it but couldn't find it? Was it on during the day? Shucks! :(

Are you talking about the bears? I DVRd it. Here's a link to other showings:

For a long time, I left it on and was addicted to the ABC daytime soaps (which I've found leave me restless and nervous). I've recently turned the TV off, and only turn it on when there is something I want to watch -- Mercy, Brothers & Sisters, both NCIS shows, Castle [he's soooo cute] & I've become addicted to FlashForward.

I do, however, love watching PBS. Quality. Television.

We watch and listen to TV every day, except "on the road" days...duh.....We don't watch much Network TV, except Monday night for 24 & NASCAR races....Fox News, SyFy, USA, History, Discovery, TLC, Food Network,TNT, TBS, Golf, and Speed...(Can't miss the NASCAR stuff....  ) We've had DirecTV for over 5 years....gave up the local channels cause it's such a hassle to have them changed every time we move, so went with the Regional service for "Mobile Customers" mostly for the Fox channel & occasional other network shows. Yes, they have this plan for full-timing RVers.....you just have to request the paperwork, fill it out, and send it in....takes about 2 weeks...
