Easter Sunday at Ft. Fisher, NC

We had such a nice day...did a little walking on the beach...a little shopping...and Ernie made a great late lunch....I promised photos, so here goes... ;)

Ernie said that since it is Easter, I needed a Easter Hat to help with the sun while walking the beach and piers...So while shopping, he got me this beauty..
Image

Our late lunch was his creation of a spring tapas like the one we had at the bistro the other day....
Image

Then the 3 of us sat out to soak up the sun and nice breeze...Spinner really enjoyed himself.

Toward the end of the day, we took a walk to enjoy the sunset.
Spinner gets nervous around water, we found out...

And had to take another photo of the sunset. Here's the pier at sunset.

We had a great day....Tomorrow we're going to do some surf fishing.....can't wait!!! ;)

I LOVE that hat! Great photo's, too! Poor Spinner, freaked out by the water....he's been around water before, what happened? Dogs are funny creatures sometimes.

great pictures, maybe it wasn't the water, maybe it was the pier that made Spinner
nerveous.

Thanks for sharing those great photos; love the Easter bonnet.
I'm beginning to feel as if everyone but me is getting to enjoy the ocean and sound of the waves. My turn will come so look out.
