and headed north. Our destination was Ft. Fisher Military Rec. Area and campground. Took 6 hours....Spinner traveled well, but it tired him out....every 2 hours, stop for gas and let him pee....so many new smells...so little time.... 
Then we had the nerve to drive onto the Southport-Ft. Fisher Ferry and ride for 30 minutes....with him in the truck....needless to say Ernie & he hit the bed early...both exhausted from the trip....We're here for 2 weeks....then maybe go a little farther up the coast for the rest of the month...Anyways, got some photos to share.....Enjoy!!
