The gates are down and the lights are flashing, but the train isn't coming.

Fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.

They are depriving some village of its idiot.

Another brain would be lonely.

And just how does this tie in to a thread about tornados, you ask. It perfectly describes some idiot standing out there, saying "Looky Yander there, Ma, that looks like a tornado acommin cross the field".

-one sandwhich short of a picnic
-a few cards short of a full deck
-a few clowns short of a circus
-a few feathers short of a whole duck
-a few peas short of a casserole
-all foam, no beer
-couldn't pour water out of a boot with the instructions on the heel
- the wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Dumber than a box of rocks.
Like talking to a fence post.
Was beaten with a stupid stick.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.
