Wow, what a great place to boondock. Glad you all are having such a good time. Haven't seen any signs of needing the bail $$ yet. Love the larger pictures, Liz.

I was happily reading all the news about the GTG, then I saw the photos and went, Awww! I wish I was there! When Birdie and I went to the Bird Viewing Area I said there aren't any birds here and turned to go. Birdie said now wait a minute...look behind that clump of reeds, and over at the far side..and so on. There were dozens of birds! And yes those binoculars are the Cadillac of the viewing world. Super. Thanks for the bigger pics Liz. When you post something uninteresting you can go back to the smaller ones. Like that is ever going to happen.

Glad to see things are going well as the gtg gets underway. I so wanted to be there; maybe next year.
Thanks for the larger pixs, Liz. They are great as usual. Beach looks fantastic and I long to hear sound of waves.

Yesterday (Friday) was moving day! In the morning we all took a walk south.


Doesn’t Sophie look fabulous in her outfit?


We’re all ears!


Birdie checking out a secluded section of beach....a perfect boondocking spot for our little group.


So after our walk we shuffled our rigs to our new private sites.


In a little while, Diana had to leave, so we took a group picture with the banner which all have signed.


We set up our flamingos...no easy feat in the wind.



Birdie set up her other flying birdies.


And voila! Sprinter arrived.


Time for another group picture.


We had a pot-luck dinner of grilled hot dogs & sausages, potato salad, beans, shrimp cocktail, veggies, and birthday cake! (Sprinter brought it for Birdie’s bd)

Later we made a fire ring and Karen lit some logs....so we sat around the campfire and chatted.


Karen tried to entertain us with flute music, but she got “winded.” (The wind interfered with the sound)


So as you can see, we’re very busy....watching the birds...

I love that beach. That was my little find and I hope all our sistahs that ever get there enjoy it as much as me. Love the spot you scouted for to be alone. Great place. Specially since everyone is boondocking this time. Too bad Diana and Sprinter missed each other by so little time, but so good that Diana was able to come over even for that short visit. Think of all of us missing you. And I wish for you to have beautiful sunny days for the rest of your time there.

Happy Birthday Birdie! And welcome, Sharon! Sure would have liked to see you and Diana again. Roe looks like you wore him out on the walk and the move! Or maybe he's just depressed 'cause he thought you were on the road again. Hope the wind dies down and gives you gorgeous weather for the rest of your GTG. As usual, beautiful pictures Liz!
