Hello ladies!

I am finally taking a breath and doing some catch up on my blog. I posted an update a little while ago about our first week working with the carnival. Hope you all get a chance to check out my blog. Before I turn in for the night I am going to post two more posts. I want to write about moving day and our schedule.

We are doing fine and just finished up a very easy dinner of rice and hotdog & cheese burritos (Ron's favorite thing to fix  ) Now we are settling into our first night in Lacey, WA.

Sure hope everyone is doing fine. I don't get time every day to read all the posts. I am hoping that I can get into a routine (if there is one in the carnival world) so I can stay connected with all my friends, via email, facebook, my blog and this website.

Well off to finish up my writing.

Very interesting blog! Sounds like you're settling in nicely. Sorry about the bad weather....that must really put a "damper" on carnival work. Will continue to pray for you in this (ad)venture.

They say the first week is the hardest. You'll get into a routine and settle in. Keep us posted.

Ali, I haven't read your blogg yet but want to you know I have been thinking of you and Ron. Hope our weather improves, but it doesn't look too good for the next few days. Snow is coming down to the 2000 ft level today. They say chance of some hail for us here near Vancouver. Stay safe and dry!

Thanks for the prayers and encouragement. It hailed here late yesterday afternoon and rained off/on through the night and most of today. It did let up about noon for about an half hour ~ of course when the guys doing the set up were on lunch break.

Ron is helping with set up today. He said at lunch time it feels good to be doing some real work ~ ticket selling is okay for him but not outside and doing stuff like he is used to. I am glad he has had a few good weeks of rest before we started this (though we didn't get any money in the door during that time) because now his arm is healed where he stretched his bicep muscle and his cold his much better ~ all things for making working easier to do.
