Photobucket???

Photobucket???

Postby retiredhappy » Sat Feb 27, 2010 11:07 am

Help, what's with Photobucket. There is no longer a choice of you can click on to pick the size of a photo or to copy it. Wish they would QUIT messing around with the site.

OK went back into PB and there was the thing you can click on to copy the photo. Sometimes I REALLY hate PB.

Has it gone to automatically sizing to 400x600 for internet use? I use Irfanview for resizing for my blog. Would that site work for here? Will have to try.

Karen, I never resize my pictures when uploading them. Somehow leaving them alone gives me the freedom to do what I want when I post them. If I need to crop a picture I usually do that before uploading also. That way I know that what's on Photobucket are "posting ready". I think that sometimes people think they have to do more than is really necessary to get what they want.

Hopefully you've made peace with PB and we'll get to see more pictures of that cute new pooch of yours. :)

It wasn't changing the size, it was finding where to click to "copy" so I could post here.

OK,... to copy to the forum .... no link shows to begin with. If you bring your cursor over the pic you want to put on the forum links will then show up below the pic. When that happens click on the IMG code and then do a Control C to copy and go to forum post and do a Control V to past that link in. Your pic will show when you Submit your post to the forum. (or Preview if you like to do that first) Good luck.... :D

I had a few issues a few weeks ago. When I put my cursor over the pic I didn't get any drop down (IMG etc list). NONE! I tried a few hours later and lo and behold, there they were. Nope, nope nope, do not like PB AT Tall!

With Sparkle's - it's not always showing the choices either - and they are NOT there if you click on them or hover over them. They are somehow sometimes opening to a differet page - and it shows she has multiple albums and to get to the right page she has to click on the picture of one of the albums. It had never done that to her before - and now has a couple times.

I justed used Photobucket and it went well, for a change! I'm not liking the fact that I had to search to find my album. When I found it I saved the link to my desktop so I can so straight to it.
