Ava, you, Sparkle and I all talk a lot - so we should be grateful that we all got our moments :)

Glad you two got to meet. It's so much fun to meet others from this great forum.

Not at all! I'm quiet, but that's because I prefer listening. Maybe that's why Bobby and I are such great pals. If he were paid by the word we'd be rich. But he's usually just jabbering on. You have interesting stuff to say, Ava. Talk on. :D

Well, the day is almost done! I'm a little late once again! I got off work early and it was so nice out that I decided to take a drive in the country! I drove west about 20 miles to a town called Buffalo. On the way, I drove along the Crow River which is above flood stage now and expected to crest this weekend. I went shopping at Walmart and Menards. Bought a new indoor/outdoor carpet for my porch so I can get rid of the stinky one out there now. On the way home, I pulled over and took a walk down to the river. It is really wide, way beyond it banks and moving quickly. Was watching huge chunks of ice moving along. Amazing how much power is in all that water! A friend of mine who lives near the river said that the river is up to their porch and they live a block away from it! It has never come up to their backyard before. Anyways, it was a great day for a drive out there. Saw lots of farms and horses along the way and lots of flooded fields. One more nice day tomorrow before the cold returns. Brrr!

Oh, also stopped at the house of the woman who died. Her oldest daughter was there who I haven't talked to for over 30 years. She was away at college when I was hanging out with her family, so we didn't know each other very well. We had a nice chat but I didn't stay long since she looked very tired. I told her I would be there on Saturday for the service.

Steve (yes, we are still friends) is helping me work out deals with my creditors to get my bills paid off sooner (and cheaper), so I will have more money to work with sooner than later. He is a shrewd businessman so he knows how to deal with these people! Yay!

Since Ava and Amy didn't get pictures  , at least tell us about your conversation!!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
