My DH was a Vietnam veteren. He couldn't face going to the Wall. I would like to see it though.

I've been to the Memorial....was shocked....the wall goes on & on & on....don't know how anyone could stand there & not cry...

I've seen the memorial in DC. It was quite awe inspiring. They offered paper and a fat pencil (don't know what it would be called) so you could make a rubbing of someone listed. I've also seen the traveling wall when it was in Alaska.

We saw the traveling wall when it was here in Whatcom County. That in itself was amazing. To see the one in Washington DC would be awesome. Thanks for sharing.
