Wet Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wet Saturday

Good morning gals
this will be the third weekend in a row with rainy weather. Looks like I'll be in
the laundry room today using the dryers. Spring break during the week for us,
but I'll be going in to do my mid day run as that school isn't on spring break
until the following week. Good pay for working spring break as they gaurantee
us 4 hours pay just for coming in and for me, my run is just an hour and a
half, but I'll spend some time cleaning my bus and mopping, etc.
Working on another rug, finished my little one (almost) and making a bigger
one (area rug) to match it. Then I'll get another one started and get it up
on artfire. Have to make a run to daughters to feed the cat as she's out of
town til Sunday, will pick up carpet cleaner while I'm there and get some
carpet cleaning done during the week off.
Thats about all I have planned today, other than the normal routine bill paying
and grocery shopping.
Have a great day and hoping you have good weather. Be safe

Morning! Sun still not quite out. We generally have AM fogginess. Suppose to be our warmest day so far this year, in the 60s! Also saying we might get some snow next week, or at least some pretty cold temps. Mother Nature is all confused this season.
I was up till almost 2AM with getting everything put back on my new computer that The Geek Squad couldn't transfer over. Still have major issues with Quicken. Love/hate affair with that software!
I'm feeling very well this morning. Cold is still dragging a bit in my sinuses, but not bad.
Today I WILL get the vacuuming done! Will mow the lawn, too, later when it's had a chance to dry off the dew.
I just noticed. I lost my spellcheck! :o Now you'll see how awful my spelling really is!
Have a great Saturday. Hope you got to sleep in!

Good morning everyone!

I'm getting ready to start my income tax via TurboTax online. This will be the fourth year I've used that method. Works like a charm. Of course I have a simple life,..

The Lady Eagles are off to the NY quarter finals in basketball. There are four (I think only 4) classes of schools based on size. We of course are in the smallest size, Class D. Our girls are 18-0. So last night they won the section VII title, and got presented with their patches and shirts. My granddaughter and her friend immediately put the shirts when they came out of the locker room after the game and we all went out to a Japanese steak house for dinner. A party of 9 of us to celebrate. Next game is Wednesday.

Sunshine is bright, snow will melt more today, my driveway is already dried up. I have a small amount of snow left in front of the camper. It was an exceptionally snowless winter here. We really could use another big ole wet snowstorm before spring really gets here. Unfortunately Soosie who is only about 35-40 miles away (as the crow flies over the mountains) is still in the throes of winter at her higher elevation.

OK,... time to tackle the taxes.

Good morning Ladies!

The sun is shining up in our little corner of the Pacific Northwest. We are now parked at Beachwood (a campground that we stay in for 3 weeks at a time) and are parked so we have a great view of the bay. The water is blue, the sun is yellow, the grass is green...it is definitely a wonderful spring day.

We got the date for when we leave to work/travel with the carnival. We leave Blaine on the 21st of March after church and will go to Chehalis for a night or two and then we go to Kelso/Longview and begin work on Tuesday the 23rd. The carnival there is for four days. After that we go to Lacey, WA for two weeks and then to Puyallup for the Spring Fair. We will get our full itinerary when we arrive in Kelso/Longview. We are so excited to have our start date. I am going to do some writing on my blog later tonight or tomorrow.

Today I am going to a going away party for me. One of the Yahoo groups I belong to is based right here in Whatcom County and the ladies of that group are having a going away party for me. I am so excited to meet some of the women I have come to know and love on that forum. After that I have to go and finish up the stuff for tomorrow at church. Yesterday was the World Day of Prayer and we hosted the service for Whatcom County at our church so I was not able to get everything done. I should be there about an hour or two.

Don't have any plans for this evening yet.

Well, it's almost time for me to leave so I had better get off the computer. Sure hope everyone has a great day. Thanks for sharing the coffee this morning.

East coast, southwest, north west and me checking in from central CA, I love how we are ALL over the country!!! For the record it is high overcast here. No real rain forecast, but not enough sun for the poppies to open. Today we are taking my auntie to lunch for (82nd) birthday. We will go to the Sports Bar at the small local casino. Auntie will play the slots after. Sister and I will bowl with her grandkids. Grandpa and Grandma will be our cheering section. It will be a fun afternoon. Yesterday I went snowshoeing near the local ski place. So much snow. What a work out! We met a younger couple on the trail and then traded off breaking new trail with them. That was cool as it allowed us to gor much farther than if we had been breaking trail all the way ourselves. There is probably 5-6 feet that included a foot or so of fresh powder. BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Have a fun day everyone!!!

My DH called me about 10:00 to go get him, one of the warning lights was coming on in his truck. We managed to get it to the Ford place and didn't have to have it towed. Glad I didn't have anything planned today, we just got home. We ate lunch at the Cracker Barrel. There was a 30 minute wait and I was surprised he wanted to wait for a table. He's usually in too much of a hurry. I got to read all the cookbooks while we waited. lol

It's a pretty sunny day. Passed a business sign that said it's 73. Hope it dries things out because we have 3 days of rain coming next week. We have some land work that needs to be done but it's just too wet.
