MOONLIT THURSDAY MORNING

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MOONLIT THURSDAY MORNING

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

A clear and cool morning has arrived here, with a bright half-moon high in the southern sky. Things are very pretty with moonlight on the snow.

Saranac Lake is having a parade tomorrow after school for the athletes we had participating in the Olympics.....there is a huge list of them! Some of them I hadn't even realized were up there! I intend to rush home from school, get Molly and let her out for a bit, and then both of us will head back to watch the festivities. I'll bring my camera to catch whatever I can.

Glad to have heard from Cedar last night, and to learn that she has just been so busy she didn't get to post at all yesterday. Her girls' basketball team will be in the playoffs on Friday! What a great season they have had!

A week from tomorrow, my class will be taking a field trip to our Mt. Van Hoevenburg Cross Country Ski Venue in Lake Placid to try out cross-country skiing and get outside in a beautiful place. My comatose girl plans to stay at home as doing anything of that sort (anything that involves moving her body at all) terrifies her. It will take the pressure off me to have to try to deal with her, and will allow me to spend more time with kids who can actually have fun trying it all out! I have a feeling one other kid might not go, either, as he always thinks if he gets a paper cut he is going to die! It should be an interesting day.

Coffee is hot, so come on in and let us know what's going on wherever you may be. It's hard to believe the winter is winding down.

Happy Thursday!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good Morning All from Guadalajara, MX - we've been on the road for 112 days today - and Jennie is getting smaller and smaller. But she is behaving wonderfully. And The Driver says she is a dream for these roads - even takes the topes (nasty speed bumps - 15 to each town - well not quite that many just seems like it) okay.
This a.m. we have the heater on to take off the chill - by afternoon it will be 80 - we're at 5300 feet here so it really cools down at night. From here don't know where we will go - North or South -
We're going into town today and try to tour some of the fantastic old churches and buildings. Will have to wear something besides shorts. But between the altitude and SMOG I get out of breath quick. Will take lots of pictures.
Have a good day everyone
I see that at home in Indiana they are having a heat wave will be in the mid 40s for a while - time to put the winter coats away!

Looking out the window (from the 3rd floor) at the evergreen tree outside and listening to the birds singing, and the sun shining, it seems like it could be a nice summer day. But taking a closer look (down) I see all the snow left and realize summer is a long ways away yet. :(

Have a good day everyone! Spring will be here eventually!

It is a wonderful morning here today. I sat outside for one cup of coffee. It is sunny, but still chilly out there.

I am heading out today...my GF is coming to pick me up and then head back to her house in Seattle. Then we fly out tomorrow...for a girls weekend and to get a car we bought from my my mom and drive it back here.

Dh is doing kid duty...with some help from Ali...she will come and get DS today and get him to wrestling comp, at the middle school. It is one time I wish the bus route worked out better. The city bus would get him there 45 min, early. IMO that is too early, as the school is not out for the day yet.

I am also waiting on Silverwood RV park to call me back. They are closed for the season, but have office hours. I called on Monday and left a message. The recording says they are busy with summer reservations and large call load, but will return call in 3 business days..so I really hope to hear from them today.

I want to finish booking the vacation and if they do not have spots for on the way over, I would look at going on the way back...I need them to call me.

You all take care...not sure if I am going to take the laptop with me or not.

Good morning All

The sun is shining, the sky is blue and it kinda nice out there though still a little chilly.

Don't have much on the agenda for today except drive Kristy's DS to wrestling. Plan to spend some time on the computer and then maybe some reading.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning, ladies!
Good to see you all at the table this morning. The sun is trying to peep out. I hope to get out and walk today. My cold is breaking up, but I'm still stuffy etc. Just can't seem to be able to shake this one.
I was chatting live all afternoon yesterday with Sudheer Aluvaka. He was helping me with my Norton Antivirus install. Comcast is now offering free NAV to their customers so I needed to take advantage of that! I needed to know if I should remove the version I was using before downloading and installing the new one, hence contacting help. As it turned out, my computer is on it's last legs as my virtual memory is full, pluss my hard drive is nearly that way. When Sudheer was helping me my computer kept freezing up. I then gave him permission to take over my computer and boy did he do some stuff!! At one point I got scared and typed that I sure hoped he was who he said he was and that he wasn't stealing any of my private info. I felt pretty confident that it was OK as I was the one who went thru Comcast's website to get to him/Symantec in the first place. Anyway, 3 1/2 hrs later, we finally logged off the live chat with a promise that he would contact me this morning to make sure I got the new NAV up and running smoothly. I had to do a total system scan, took 6 hrs, plus some other scans needed, but feel it's all good now. Sudheer went beyond just answering a question in helping me and I thought that was worthy of mentioning here. PS still gonna need to upgrade my computer sooner or later. Probably sooner. ;)
I'll probably buy a new computer at Best Buy. I know that for a fee they will transfer all your info from your old computer to the new one, but was wondering exactly how indepth that goes. Like will my Comcast internet stuff be all set so all I need to do is plug in the cable modem and go?
Ok, need some food and also schedule an appt to get my taxes done. Fun, fun!
Wishing every a great day. Do at least 'one fun thing'!
Oh, I didn't get to the movies yesterday. Perhaps today....
