Just watching TV about the tsunami warnings for Hawaii and the west coast. The waters are now receeding in California, preceeding the tsunami approaching. I was just thinking about the gals down in Mexico and hoping that they are heading for higher ground if possible. The warnings/advisories go all the way up the coast from South America to Alaska. Hopefully, this won't be as severe as they are predicting.

Yeah, hope they have access to info about it....radio or word of mouth or something. Don't think either of them have satellite tv, but hopefully they saw it on the internet if they're in an area where they have reception. I didn't even think of them when I saw the reports on the net. Duh!

I just saw a newsflash of a travel trailer and a class C paddling up one of the Baja roads, with two girls' heads sticking out of the windows with cameras! (Just kidding!)
Check in, you two, when you can, with your latest pics and all!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain Happy travels!
I did hear of some minimal damage along the California coastline (Ventura and somewhere else near there) but the tsunami turned out to be weaker than they predicted, even in Hawaii, so that was good! Hope the girls are OK in Baja.

Checking in for us both. Last night we were north of Ensenada - and yes it STORMED. We rocked and rolled and made it fine. We weren't on the beach - way above it tho - and the waves were rolling this morning. The wind that continued long after it quit raining as hard did a lot to dry out roads or we'd still be there. Still did see a lot of water where it didn't belong. And lots of rocks rolled down - and MUD slides - not major house mudslides, but mud in roads and places it didn't belong. We did get out though and this afternoon crossed the border at Tecate and are in the US.
So, what are we doing tomorrow? Going back to Tecate - we didn't see anything except the border crossing - and Sparkle needs more clothes. I need pet meds and my meds.
Much more will be posted when we have good internet. I'm finally using my phone to tether again - but have a very light signal. Sparkle has no signal with her Verizon aircard here.
