Visiting Whales

Postby Bethers » Tue Feb 23, 2010 10:04 pm

We did a whale watching trip today. Jean will be posting it on the forum. But if you want an advance preview - for the first time on this trip - I'm ahead of her - and have posted about it on my blog.

I also finished a post about the birds from Santispac/Bahia Concepcion - it's immediately before the whale posting - for those of you interested.

Your photos are wonderful!
How did you manage to beat Jean on posting?
Did Belle get to make the trip to see whales?

Love your pics. You got so close to them! I've been on several watches out of Maine and Cape Cod, we'd see whales, but not that close. Great trip for you!

You said it best, Beth...AWESOME! What a great experience and wonderful pictures you were able to get. Enjoyed the birds too. Thanks for posting those. Looking forward to Jean's now.

How cool Beth! Did that down there on a cruise and it was so much fun! Hard to believe their size even when you're right beside them. And they seem to know that you're in a little bitty boat and are fragile, so they are very gentle around them.
