Hey---I woke up---can't sleep so I threw a couple logs on so it will be ready for ya'll when you drag out of bed. I have to be up to do last min. packing at 5:30 and we leave to go get the truck downtown about 7:30. Guys will be here to load at 11. We hope to get gone by late afternoon. Anyway, me and Tobey are both awake so I'm gonna grab a bottle for me and one to drink for him so he will go back to sleep!! Lets see, Pat left 81 bottles of beer on the wall and I'm taking one for me and one for Tobey (Hee hee---I'll drink it though) so that leaves 79 bottles of beer on the wall. 79 bottles of beer on the wall----who is next?? Tee Hee.. Hick-up!! Weeeeeelllll-----I'm off to bed-----If I can find it!! Ya'll remember Foster Brooks------I think he is my drinkin buddy!!

I will grab a beer for my youngest daughter so that leaves 77 bottles. We were sitting on a mountain listening to Blues and drinking wine. I was having a wonderful time and she was tolerating the wine. She said she went out with a man to a very upscale restaurant. He ordered an expensive bottle of wine (she likes beer) and she put sweet and low in her glass. I made a spectacle of myself laughing. I wonder why he never ask her out again.

Geee I feel like I partied last night but I didn't. We aren't on the road yet. We worked last night till we couldn't move trying to finish up. Everything I have hurt!!! LOL I am old!!!

The U-Haul is packed except for last minute stuff---ya'll know how that is. We are hopeing to be gone by noon, If I can get Bash and Tobey work up. We are at a motel---no beds or chairs. Have to sit on a green lawn chair, Bash's walker seet or the commode to sit down-----unless you sit on the floor. The floor is soooo far down----a lot farther than it used to be!! Just wait till I get home----I'm gonna have some wine to celebrate----for real!! LOL!!! I got to drive today so Lori----have a couple for me--you and Ernie!!

Wed. night, someone was in our back yard. We are so carefull to keep the gate closed because of Tobey and when I got up to let Tobey out, I looked out of habit and it was open!! Scared the whey out of me. I didn't hear anything and they had to go on the driveway past the bedroom where I was sleeping. Bash thinks they probably wanted the motor off the boat!! It is locked on. Out it in the garage last night since the garage was empty. I want out of Detroit. Hey---I got to have a bottle on that one--just one though. I think that leaves 75 bottles of beer on the wall==75 bottles of beer,,,,,

Everyone must have been busy today.....site-seeing, I bet :D ;) Ernie & I just returned from visiting our 5er at Round Top CG in Gettysburg.....good friends of ours have borrowed it for the weekend.....He's trying to talk his wife into getting a RV of some kind.....so this is his "let's try it and you'll like it" weekend....the good news is she is having a ball.....they have a DD of 11yrs. who is enjoying the whole thing and a handi-capped son who is having the time of his life, even if he can't talk, walk, or express himself....but you can tell....he loves the "Tacky lights" and rope lights I put up for them Weds.....anyways, we had steamed crabs, corn, and a few beers.....

Now that we're back at our campfire here, We'll take 2 beers and rest our feet by the fire......

74 bottles of beer on the wall......74 bottles of beer.....

Janice, your beer hit the tree....no harm done..... ;)

No beer for me tonight - was invited out to karaoke, but my 5 am alarm made me decide to stay in - with some watermelon.

Sorry ladies, this one is seedless- but I am willing to share - but you have to eat it with your hands and mouth - no silverware :) It's here and sliced - grab some.

hello there ladies, the dogs and I are out walking so thought we'd stop by and sit
a spell. Made some plans today for my day trip coming up in November. The shrimp
festival starts on Nov 7 and goes through to Nov 9. I've chosen the 9th to go cause
its a saturday and I won't miss any work that way. I'm really looking forward to it.
I looked it up on the internet to verify the days, I googled Desert Sweetshrimp Farm
and Gila Bend and found it. Gila Bend city website had the details and it looks like
fun. Its the 5th annual one so far. Weather will be nice in November. Gila Bend is
a small town and about a two hour drive from me. The shrimp is not cheap, but
its big and I really plan on pigging out. Anybody else live in the area and wanna
go, we could meet up there and pig out together and take lots of pictures.
Well, the dogs are getting antzy and want to continue their walk, so catch ya all
later, no beer for me but thank you, I'm the designated driver to the store later.

Yummy, thanks for the brownies, Veda - chocolate is really my downfall. You do need to come to the Nov GTG and bring some with you to a real campfire :)

Well thought I would stop by for a visit. Got my coffee mug with me. And I don't even have Irish Cream in it either.

Sorry Pat your just gonna have to carry on a little longer for me! But I have faith in such a friend as you. :D I just aint up to getting back into the party yet. Beer and NyQuil just doesn't really taste good when mixed.

Still feeling under the weather and rocky here. Better than I was but not up to speed. I will be so freaking happy once I start feeling like I should. But I can handle sitting here by the fire enjoying all the excellent company. ahhhhhhhhh Medicine for the soul.
